The manga is very different to the anime, and since im in UK its quite a rare manga, got the whole lot for £57.
Dunno what i prefer tbh, i really enjoyed the anime 10/10 would watch again, but the manga is still good, i think i just prefered the anime ending.

I liked both, in different ways. I'm a little foggy on them both seeing how it's been a long time, but regardless I thought both were great.

They were both good for different reasons, in the manga everyone was being a cunt to everyone else by/near the end. in the anime, they sort of made up or what have you.
I get very easily swayed by music, and NHK's music is awesome so thats probably the only reason i will prefer the anime.

Yeah, I think this anime is kind of overlooked, I liked the idea and the general execution. But that might just be me I guess.

Could be just you. I enjoyed everything about it. Also, a lot of folk said that you will either find it depressing or dark humoured. I found it more depressing.

I didn't really find it depressing as I did, realistic. You know what I mean? Like it isn't all "Boobies omg beahc episode XXDDD". This was something I could imagine actually happening. Whether or not that's depressing, I don't know.

yeah, that is something which gave it a big plus, it took itself seriously. no boobs or anything for the sake of having them out for fan service. There was a lot of boobs in the manga but thats cause Satou was dreaming/hallucinating.

For once, the boobs and perversion weren't there as fanservice, but as a means of strengthening the role of his character, which made me really happy.

You seem to be balls-deep in anime...what's the difference between it and manga? I like manga, it's fun and adult and violent, but manga seems like...really over stimulated cartoons who take too much sugar

It all depends on the series, most anime is off of manga sometimes the manga is better or not. All anime does different is add filler eps and sometimes more boobs just for fan service, just depends on the series tbh.

some serious anime would be Welcome to the NHK, FMA:B, Psycho Pass (haven't seen it but seems to take itself seriously) and theres more which i can't think off of the top of my head atm.

Cool, I might try some. I was raised in a time when Manga VHS were like drugs, you sneaked em around to everyone else's houses and hid em from your parents because they hated em ha. I remember being at the cool kid's house, about 10 of us watching "Fist Of The North Star" and I think "Ninja Scrolls" and his mum just like popping in and out seeing if we were all OK, **** was cash (we were about 10).
