I'm going to be "that guy" and ruin all of the fun. All they did was put the Romance languages (Latin) in a row and then a Germanic language at the end. Of course the German language would sound entirely different, its not Latin. The only language on that list that is technically in the same language group is English, but many of their words are also taken from the Latin languages because of France. I'm sure mandarin would sound pretty weird as well in this format.
Also it makes a big ******* difference if you pronounce the words fast and with a strong intonation like they did with German than slow and softly like they did with the other ones
English is a Germanic language, yes, but I remember reading that in the past noblemen and scholars wanted to be 'sophisticated' like the French and **** which is why Latin based words were constantly introduced to the language. Peasants spoke the simple Germanic English and noblemen tried to speak fancy English with all those latin words.
I suppose a better way to word it would be Naturwissenschaften's definition is fairly closer to "Life Science" (Biology, Botany ,etc.). I've never heard an overall German word for every science
"Science" in English just refers to Maths , Physics , Biology and Chemistry , what we in German call Naturwissenschaften , because these are the "natural" sciences.
Then there is **** like social studies and psychology , which in english is called " the humanities " because these are specific sciences almost exclusively for and about humans which is why in German we call them Humanwissenschaften - or " science of man "
well, no **** , if you shout and exaggerate any language sounds aggressive.
german is a beautiful language and one of the most expressive in the world.
As someone who has studied German, German's a gorgeous language if you don't speak it like a retard.
This is obviously pandering towards the "HUEHUEHUEH GERMINS HAEV LOUD LANGAGE HUEHFHEF" and it pisses me off because nothing else gets me rock ******* solid like someone speaking German.
