That looks like something I'd take a warhammer to in Skyrim.

This is basically the closest you can legally get to owning a Wookie or a bear.

That's how it is with most giant breeds.
Many giant breeds suffer from heart issues and urinary issues (though the urinary issues are more prominent in females). However the most common problems are joint and muscle injuries. Two of the mastiffs we've owned (out of a total of ten english mastiffs) have torn their ACLs, one developed a spongy bone cancer, and three developed severe arthritis. Two of the females we had also had urinary issues. Luckily none of ours have had heart problems yet.

As for the laziness, yes. Most all giant breeds are relatively low energy and are very docile. That's why mastiffs are always labeled as great with kids. Even when I was a baby my parents had a mastiff. When I was learning how to walk i would grab its jowls and pull myself up to stand. Then, later, I used its head as a step-stool to climb onto the couch. Giant breeds generally don't care what you do to them as long as you don't actually cause them harm. Because, as far as they are concerned, anything you do to them that doesn't hurt is all done out of love, and that's all they care about.

Giant breeds have always been great dogs for the home for multiple reasons. First of all, as I already stated, they're really chill. If you have kids, you don't have to worry about the dog hurting them. Secondly, their sheer size is enough of a deterrent for any would-be burglar. Also, thanks to their size, they are a tremendous source of heat. Nothing beats having a 150-200 lb. dog lay next to you and heat up the whole bed.

I got one for 4500, and named him killer. Killer doesn't do **** . They're not the fierce beasts most would assume. They're pretty lazy but fun. I remember I invited a girl to my apartment and called out "here killer", 2 nano seconds later his big ass hit the corner and to this day I remember her screaming in pure terror "THIS ***** GOT A BEAR". She was Puerto Rican lol.
