that is why I said internet as a whole.
i understand people can have favorite rappers and dislike rappers.
i'm just questioning the whole "there will never be any rapper better" kind of reputation he receives on the internet when they compare him to something that is hardly even rap anymore.
I just woke up so i probably went on rambling in the wrong direction without making much sense, but that is really my main point.
although i do agree with you, im not talking about liking and disliking him.
im talking about judging his talents as a rapper.
I like him as a rapper. but i dont like that people judge his rapping abilities by comparing him to other trash rappers.
did that make sense? because I know what im trying to say but im not so sure if im saying it right...
yes I pretty much worded this terribly..
Ill tell you what i just told stalini.
I dont have a problem with eminem as a rapper, i have a problem with how people potray him as the best thing since sliced bread, but compare him to people who shouldn't even be considered real rappers..
I understand people have their favorites. and i can respect that.
but if someone is going to judge him on his rap skills, atleast compare him to someone in his own class and at his skill level.
hmm. well im not really into big song rap more of listening for the more technical stuff, so i listen to alot of teambackpack cyphers.
in terms of these rappers heres one of my favorite that i feel can be on eminem's level. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxWjC3_JD54
skip to about 3:17 and really like how he describes rap.

Eminem's been caught up in his own name for years now, and if you really can't find better rappers than Lil Wayne in the (B)east Coast then you're just not even trying to hear decent rap.
