Your first "fact" is wrong
I assume you're portugese so you're gonna deny the following FACT and thumb me down.

Fact is : You guys and The Spanish are infact Austrian.
Now before you're being a cunt and thumb me down before further reading , read this spoiler.

The germanic tribes originated on a swedish island called Gothland , the main tribe called (obviously) The Goths went to todays poland where they later split into Visigoth and Ostragoth during the 2nd century , in the 6th century when the Hunnic Empire swallowed the Visigoth territory , the Visigoth first fled to the West-Roman Empire together with the Vandals , after being ignored even after capturing Rome itself and learning Latin , the Vandals and Visigoth moved to Iberia , where as the Ostragoths moved to todays Austria , away from the Huns.
The Vandals then sailed to North-Africa after the romans taught them how to make ships. The Vandals then founded the Vandal Empire that lasted not even a century before Rome took it back. The Visigoths on the other hand took Iberia (the province of Terraconesis to be precise) from the Romans and founded Spain , later on their expansion deeper into roman territory was put to a halt by the Franks who founded their own Kingdom by now and founded Francia (early-medieval france)
Due to Frankish influence and a few thousand Vandal immigrants , the first Spain split into Portugal , Aquitain and something they called Castilla Y Leon which I sadly can't properly translate. Castilla later on became the Spain we all know and hate though.

So there you have it , you're more Austrian than anything else , and before you ask : No , Germans are something entirely different.

Well Gothland is a swedish island , but it's a stretch to claim that all germanic tribes are Swedish.

Oh and on the topic of Germans : Germans as we know them today are a mix of 4 big tribes

The Franks in the West , The Teutons in the East , the Markomani in the South and last but not the least , the Saxons in more or less the Middle (North-West kinda)

That's why I used "Germanic", becuase it was the Swabians, the Goths, the Visigoths, the Vandals, the Alans... the Alans were among the first Christian in the area, so they build a church; from the germanic "Alan Kirkje" (Alan church) came the name of the city of "Alenquer" (one of the few Portuguese words begining in "al" that are not ARab).
