" the population of the city itself has plunged from a high of 1.9 million in 1950 to 710,000 in 2010, with the non-Hispanic white element falling from 816,000 to 56,000."

When my uncle was in the military he was a paratrooper and on one jump they noticed that the bags they had weren't the ones they packed. They were told to jump anyway and none of the packs deployed. He was the only one in his platoon to survive. He ended up with a broken back and other broken bones. He is now a world renown martial artist.

Even more interesting about the particle accelerator one is that it completely stopped aging on that side of his face.

Apparently, all Legend of Zelda merchandise is now quarantined.

From what I've found, the 2 movies are most likely John Carter & Mars Needs Mom's. Don't quote me though.

Mars needs mom's what?

Yeah, but it may not have been marketed well.

I didn't realize that Man O' Wars had tentacles

Aye, they do. Big arms to fight off the Darwinist krakens, against whom their 140 long guns are no use.

Note: This is not true, it is instead a reference to a trilogy of books. See comment #44 for a proper answer
#39 - Emerzz (01/04/2014) [-]
what ones????
#58 to #39 - anonymous (01/04/2014) [-]
the lone ranger and John carter
User avatar #55 to #39 - kanatana (01/04/2014) [-]
Probably John Carter and Mars Needs Moms.

Those films... Christ, man.

its an urban legend that he doesnt age on one side of his face.
anyone care to prove or disprove it? any pictures or interviews?
i had his name written down a few months ago so i could look into this, but it was lost
User avatar #38 to #27 - navadae (01/04/2014) [-]
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatoli_Bugorski

Thanks for the comp man it was interesting. However on stuff like this it looks a lot better if you add sources for the facts

So Harold Hackett can toss 4800 plastic bottles into the ocean, but I pour the contents of one hospital dumpster into my parents swimming pool and I'm the one who's grounded.
User avatar #47 to #15 - bladeguy (01/04/2014) [-]
He likely used glass bottles
User avatar #48 to #47 - vixvaporrub (01/04/2014) [-]
Plenty of glass in the dumpster...
User avatar #49 to #48 - bladeguy (01/04/2014) [-]
Used needles?
User avatar #50 to #49 - vixvaporrub (01/04/2014) [-]
Used and faulty glass eyes, mostly.

Our Wal Mart stocks the knives next to the rollerblades.
User avatar #12 - youhei (01/04/2014) [-]
if it's such a big deal that some guy got hit in the head with a proton beam and lived, why the hell haven't we made weapons out of that **** yet?
#18 to #12 - anonymous (01/04/2014) [-]
Because we have guns, they are way cheaper and more practical, dropping cars on people kills them, but it is a waste of cars.
#32 to #18 - darkboss (01/04/2014) [-]
WEEEE NEED THE BEAMS!

because he LIVED
User avatar #17 to #16 - youhei (01/04/2014) [-]
like i said, it seems like it's a pretty big deal that he lived. like he got shot in the head and lived or soemthing.
#19 to #17 - mitjasaric (01/04/2014) [-]
he DID get shot in the head and lived.. i do not know where you are going with this
User avatar #20 to #19 - youhei (01/04/2014) [-]
why do we not have particle beam weapons yet?
User avatar #22 to #20 - TheMather ONLINE (01/04/2014) [-]
Because it's not practical to have to carry around a several kilometers long particle accelerator on your back.
User avatar #23 to #22 - youhei (01/04/2014) [-]
they're several kilometers long?

how the hell did he get hit in the head by a beam from that thing then? it's not like you can just accidentally walk by one and oops, you've got yourself a new hole in the head
User avatar #31 to #23 - redrex (01/04/2014) [-]
they are several kilometer long tubes that speed up particles as they go around and around, faster and faster, until JUST under the speed of light
User avatar #24 to #23 - TheMather ONLINE (01/04/2014) [-]
Most likely he was working on it at the time.
