Mixed some DKR which I wasn't too fond of. Everything that has been revealed b4 this trailer is fine and would indicated that the movie is going to be kinda like that comics. But this trailer kind too a huge left turn and now it seems like they are desprete and almost like they aren't taking full advantage of the elements available in the source material.

Blue eyes are a mutation of brown eyes so the parents might've had the recessive alleles for it and both may have passed down to her or something like that. I haven't taken biology since freshman year but it has to do with recessive genes and what not.

Considering more than 4 babies are born every second, I'd guess it happens pretty often.

Blue eyes are recessive alleles so if the parents both have the brown and blue allele there's like a 1 in 4 chance that the child will have blue eyes. Doesn't work the other way though, if parents both have blue eyes and the child has brown then they're not the real parents.
