In response to all the gun grabbers

Yes there was another mass shooting. But people are so "morally better" that all guns are evil. Not the people. We call for gun control for everything. What about the people that protect themselves with guns.

What makes you think getting rid of guns will do the US any good. You can not compare us with other countries are too small.

For ***** sake, people, this happens every time. The fact that it happens enough to see patterns is concerning enough.
Stop labeling everyone who disagrees with you as "those stupid leftists" when there are this many gun murders all the time.
Background checks aren't very effective
America is the only first world country where this happens regularly
America has a very high firearm murder rate
I'm not saying to get rid of all guns or ban all guns, but stop pretending that there isn't a problem here.

There is a problem, but what most people are saying is banning gun is NOT the answer.

Anything else but banning guns can be viable.

>Banning guns isn't the answer to stopping gun murders.
It would help though

I'm not saying to ban all guns, no one is. I'm just saying we need to stop pretending like they aren't part of the problem. Restrict them. Get rid of gun shows where anyone can go in and buy firearms. Implement harsher background checks. Make certain types illegal. At this point, ******* anything would be welcome.

Have you ever bought a gun in a red state. It can take about 20 min where your personal information is run through the FBI data base. Next if you try to buy a gun in a blue state it can take months, just to get the permit, to get on the waiting list to buy a gun. In those states we see a massive rise in crime.

Let me tell you which Mass Murderers used legally bought guns. We'll look at the "high profile" ones since that is what brings up these debates.

1. Columbine High School, Illegally purchased by underage teens. Two were illegally modified to be fully automatic.
2. Red Lake Senior High School. Boy kills his grandparents, takes .22 kills 7.
3. Virginia Tech, largest massacre in US history. He was and upstanding citizen with all the legal documents, bout the glock 19 legally at a store. The Wather P.22 was a bit shady but no details regarding that are known.
4. James Holes the Aurora theater Shooter. Bought them all legally. But the school failed when his mental health counselor came to them to tell them he was nuts. The school failed to send him away because he could have made them a known school again.
5. Sandy Hook, Killed his mom stole the guns.

Now in total we are looking well over 100 bodies in about sixteen years.

More with the others. Lets round those in and say 300. Lets look a Chicago Illinois where it is damn near impossible to get a gun legally.

This year in 2015 alone 374 people have been killed, Last year 304 killed in Detroit. What is being said is that new laws are not needed. We need to enforce and regulate the laws we have.

This is exactly what I mean. Restrict them, but don't just flat out get rid of them completely.

Banning guns or reducing the amount wont stop people going nuts and killing people... they can use any number of weapons having a gun just makes it easier for them, but having no gun doesn't make it impossible

That is my exact argument to those whom wish to ban guns.
Guns don't kill people; a gun is an inanimate tool that is incapable of going out of its own way, on its own will, to harm someone. inb4 smartass comments on that logic

People kill people.
Guns just make it ******* easy.

I can go out and go on a mass murder with a spoon. ******* sharpen its edges, stick it in someones eye and gouge it out. Would we then ban spoons?

Restrictions on guns would be good, but I don't know how they would fare in the long run. It could do some good and yield results I believe.

And by most people I mean the people in favor in guns.

There is a problem, but the leftists make it look like the tool itself is the issue.

The major problem more lies in the society itself. A person can use any weapon that they want. However, the person is what matters most when it comes to stopping the crime.

I want this day to be remembered as the day I got here before the "second ammendment is king" people. Liberals, by definition, do not want to take your guns. That is literally the opposite of liberalism.
