Imagination Station

Not mine, found it. Great idea tho.

EVERY YEAR, MY WIFE AND I DEVOTE
THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER TO
CONVINCING OUR CHILDREN THAT,
WHILE THEY SLEEP, THEIR PLASTIC
DINOSAUR FIGURES COME TO LIFE.
It began modestly enough. The kids woke up to
discover that the dinosaurs had gotten into a box of
cereal and made a mess on the kitchen table.
The next morning, the dines had climbed onto the
kitchen counter to raid the fruit bowl.
The morning after that, they had managed to breach
the refrigerator and help themselves to a carton of
eggs. "," we heard our girls whisper. "Mom and
Dad are not going to like this."
Things quickly escalated from there. More often than
not, the dinos' antics were less than tidy. They are
dinosaurs, after all.
To be fair, they did clean up after themselves from time
to time.
Usually, though, the dinosaurs are just like anybody
to have a good time.
g CATAN J,
WHY DO WE DO THIS? BECAUSE IN THE AGE OF
IPADS AND NETFLIX, WE DONT WANT OUR KIDS TO
LOSE THEIR SENSE OF WONDER AND IMAGINATION.
IN A TIME WHEN THE ANSWERS TO ALL THE
WORLD' S QUESTIONS ARE A WORDSEARCH AWAY,
WE WANT OUR KIDS TO EXPERIENCE A LITTLE
MYSTERY. ALL IT TAKES IS SOME TIME AND
ENERGY, CREATIVITY. AND A FEW PLASTIC
DINOSAURS.
CHILDHOOD IS FLEETING, SO LETS MAKE SURE ITS
FUN WHILE IT LASTS.

1.) Very cool pictures
2.) Will probably psychologically scar the kids for life. 'I KNOW THE DINOSAURS ARE ALIVE! THEY ATE THE BANANA! THEY PAINTED THE PICTURE. LET ME GO! I KNOW THEY ARE REAL. I SAW IT. I SAW THE TOILET PAPER!

You know what? I actually really like that idea. Maybe not every year, unless you stop it before they get too old and actually believe it. I'm usually not one for "Oh no technology is ruining kids nowadays" because people never usually do anything about it, but this sounds fun for everyone, and shows the parents not only like to have fun with their kids, but haven't completely given up their childish side that so many adults seem to think they need to do nowadays.

tl;dr I really like this, this is nice.

>Wants children to grow up with wonder, and inspire child like energy and creativity
>Doesn't use technology to show them that there are countless wonders in the world, universe, and beyond

Seriously, not trying to sound like a special snowflake, but when I was a kid, I was thinking about Black Holes and las guns, because my father liked to watch the original doctor who, and the good Sciencey Nature shows. Some of my favorite childhood memories, that I still can recall, involve me and my best friend, trying to figure out why **** like black holes work, and how we can build space ships of our own, so that we could explore the universe, because we knew there was so much to see, out there, and I was like 9 when I first started doing this.

Use technology as a way to stimulate their imagination, if it causes them to go brain dead, then you're at fault because you didn't do your part.

by taking it one step further you can completely ruin your children mentally. blame all the mess on the kids and tell them to stop making up stupid stories as well as getting really angry and sending them to their room for added affect.

Pretty sure kids that age just watch **** for the colors and movement. Not for deep meaningful plots and artistic inspiration.

1. Good parenting, cool pictures, you're cool
2. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaCDmykyjVw_B983AQ2iGuZOA3ZLJ8Sry Your dinosaurs are wrong. Don't let your kids develop wrong representations of dinosaurs. Knowing what they were actually like will help you when they come back.
