Never heard of this guy before today.

I like this guy. He's angry about sensible things.

He also does video game videos.

Spread the word. Spread it like a wild fire.

U.N.:
>Can't stop Putin from cheating AND ******* GETTING CAUGHT NO LESS in the Russian elections
>Can't stop Putin from using weapons on his own people
>Can't stop Putin from forcefully annexing Crimea
>Number of African civil wars ended: 0
>Number of North Korean "leaders" dethrowned: 0
>Peacekeepers regularly captured no really, these guys surrender in ******* droves

I seriously can't comprehend what you guys are scared of. They aren't even talking to an important branch of the UN.
#19 to #13 - alexlife (10/01/2015) [-]
We should change their role from peaceKEEPING to Peacecreating/Peaceforcing or something.

Let them fight, do something awesome.
User avatar #20 to #19 - brobafett (10/01/2015) [-]
Your so right, because Africa is so peaceful right now and Putin is in jail.
#24 to #13 - themightylute (10/01/2015) [-]
but that requires Physical power, this only require legislative power
User avatar #25 to #24 - brobafett (10/01/2015) [-]
And? When's the last time anyone in the UN lived by the sanctions set up there?
#26 to #25 - themightylute (10/01/2015) [-]
Fair enough, my knowledge of the UN is limited to its creation and it's recent blunders.
User avatar #27 to #26 - brobafett (10/01/2015) [-]
Exactly man, this isn't **** to worry about. It's just more stuff like SOPA, **** will fall through from so little real support.
User avatar #22 to #13 - sinonyx (10/01/2015) [-]
let's start with the fact that they were able to do so with such a **** topic
User avatar #23 to #22 - brobafett (10/01/2015) [-]
Yes, and this is the same branch of the UN that took Kony2012 seriously as well. Glad, there's no more child soldiers.
User avatar #14 to #13 - thelastamerican (10/01/2015) [-]
It bothers me that the US pays so much of the UN operating budget and this is allowed to take place in any branch of the UN.
User avatar #15 to #14 - brobafett (10/01/2015) [-]
I think initially they intended it to be the world police, rather than themselves. **** sorta fell apart when the soviet joined and left in less than half a decade.
User avatar #16 to #15 - thelastamerican (10/01/2015) [-]
That would be great if they could do that honestly, instead the US has been the world police and I think the world is pretty tired of it. Hell, I'm tired of it. We could have free education if we were allowed to not be the world police.
User avatar #18 - catkyte (10/01/2015) [-]
have either of them done anything note worthy? or have they just been profiting off of victimizing themselves, like i could understand them being the front runners of a cause if they did anything of benefit for said cause, but from my understanding all they've done is yell and point fingers.

As ridiculous as this is, and how the thought of censoring free speech is rage inducing...

It's not like this whole thing is out of left field though. It stems from countless people being complete assholes for no other reason than to be assholes on the internet... and no one ever calling them out specifically.

It's pretty much just considered "internet culture" to be a complete cockhead at any given opportunity. It's never been about open criticism, or the exchange of free ideas, it's been about being a jerk for no reason and unwarranted hostility. Then when someone complains about the hostility on the webz, they themselves become a target rather than the people who were hostile.

I'm not promoting this censorship at all, I'm just saying that their ammunition to use against us was given to them BY US. What evidence do they have that the internet is a festering putrid wasteland for bad activities? A ******* lot.

What do we have to defend ourselves? Just the romanticized free speech argument that isn't really supported by our actions as a whole.

If the people want to see free speech stay free speech, we need to confront the hostility among the people as well as exercise our right to open criticism. If we don't, then the case against us is going to grow so large that our free speech argument is going to collapse.

This can't happen.

I mean if it does what are we looking at? A worldwide Tyranny? Hell maybe even WW3.

If it doesn't we all laugh at the two cunts who started all this. And now they have made themselves public enemy number 1.

This is a monster they have no hope of controlling. It is going to eat them whole and swallow them up.

They have painted targets on their backs. At some point they will realize the mistake they have made. Unfortunately, it seems we may have to pay for their stupidity.

Maybe its time for the mascot to come back?
User avatar #4 to #3 - eggsontoast [OP](10/01/2015) [-]
Either way, if they gain to much political power (no matter what kind) it's going to hurt us in the long run. Even if they fail. Videos of them in the future are going to start some horrible **** . They might not be the avalanche but they can sure as hell can be the rock that starts it. And that worries me.

We're also going to need a lot more then mascot this time. This time we NEED to spread this around as fast and as soon as possible. As they say in some texts and HBO TV showings. Winter is coming.
User avatar #5 to #4 - triforcechosen ONLINE (10/01/2015) [-]
But by their own standards

what would keep me from going to their post and saying "This offends me" and have them carted off to jail?

Or at the very least have whatever is posted taken down?
User avatar #6 to #5 - eggsontoast [OP](10/01/2015) [-]
Nothing. Or everything. Any good politician will use anything for their favor. They could make it so only it effects men, or everyone but them. I doubt that they will do anything super significant or anything clever. They are fairly dumb. But even a retard has some luck.

User avatar #7 to #6 - triforcechosen ONLINE (10/01/2015) [-]
What can spreading the word do?

They are already at the seat of power. Time is ticking and they have an enormous lead.
What could happen just by telling people?
User avatar #8 to #7 - eggsontoast [OP](10/01/2015) [-]
That's how a revolution starts my friend. Speak words of fire. Inspire people to refuse such actions. Let them rise. Arm them if we need to. We STILL have the right to arms and the right to over throw the Government.

You can't stunt the internet. We all know that. As long as someone has porn on his or her computer then all will be well. Though a few back handed dealings may need to arise to keep that. But ill be damned before they **** with my media! Books being changed (or worse being burned), Movies and TV being "PC". I don't know about you but I don't think I can play a Tetris as my main game for hours on end I don't think I can live a life with out being able to hunt down a Deer and eat it.

It starts with them man. It only takes a rock to start avalanche. If they are to be successful then the next gaingly little cunt might be too.
User avatar #9 to #8 - triforcechosen ONLINE (10/01/2015) [-]
I agree... but who exactly are we fighting?

The Feminazis?

The UN?

Besides what makes you think people will leave the comfort of their homes to fight for this cause?

And even if we do? Are the body counts worth it? Would you be willing to die for this cause?

They have a much better military than we could ever hope to muster. Not to mention, trained soldiers. Idk how effective a revolution would be nowadays.
User avatar #10 to #9 - eggsontoast [OP](10/01/2015) [-]
Right now i'll admit it's an unknown. But that's what I'm getting at. Inform them. Let people know. Minor protests would do. Let the government know just like we did with SOPA. Maybe start a few peaceful protests. A bit early right now for that sure maybe a petition for now.

I don't know. I can't say but i know a few people personally who would stand up and argue.

I would rather not fight with blood for a cause but personally? Yeah. The moment we're forced to burn our books or make life more.... dull. For lack of a better word. then yes. I would be more then willing to throw my life down to protect our history and my enjoyments. I don't think can live in a world with just Black and white.

In regards to military power. Most of their military is our people. They join because its a good pay check. They join because often times collage is free or cheaper. Some join because the thrill or just because they're bored. Some join to protect 'Murica. I know for a fact more honorable men and women would be willing to protect Friends and family from being hurt or worse. Even if they need to stand up to the vary country the serve. Everything changes sure. And I could be wrong. But we wont know unless we try.

interesting that he never even remotely mentions the harassment Quinn and Sarkeesian received.
#17 to #12 - anon (10/01/2015) [-]
isn't it kinda funny that Sarkeesian and Quinn are invited to talk before the UN and ppl like you think mildly questioning your position is so absurd that it must be troll bait?

Well, whatever.
