This reminded me of last easter, I was coloring eggs with my nephew, his parent's are poor and unlike every other kid in the world right now he doesn't own a smart phone or computer or video games, and we were pretty much the only ones coloring eggs while all my other nieces and nephews stayed in their rooms and didn't even bother to say hi to me or him. hes pretty cool, I gave him my old 360 for christmas and he was so grateful, he didn't even care that his cousins made fun of him because they all had ps4's and xbox one's. Just felt like throwing that out there.

We use food dye to color eggs where I live. And you can like do eggs that are different colors. I never knew of this way.

That's how my great grandma does it. Congrats, you rediscovered the way people dyed eggs back when you couldn't just go to the store and buy some dye.

This is actually still how my mother and now, sister in law dye them. Following the traditions, i guess.

you can also just put the eggs in old stockings, works too, my grandma used to do it that way, and its not as complicated as it is with the strings
