Ruined I could see more, since the store wants you to actively be making sure product is in the correct areas, but I can't think of a way to justify stolen goods. It doesn't make sense that stolen goods would come out of your bonus when there's really not much you can do besides tell someone who is "trained" and given permission to confront thieves. That's some ******** right there.
Employee's stealing is one of the biggest ways things get stolen. While working at walmart a couple of years ago, 2 employee's managed to steal over 2 pallets worth of monster energy drink before being caught.
it helps to keep our associates from stealing as well, cause if the get caught, fired, if not, less money anyway. but the bonus is stil pretty nice even with our $500k loss this pay period. we dont lose much for alot so it works
If you leave **** like that like an asshole, the meat will just sit there maybe for an hour or so until someone puts it back. Some poor guy will then buy a meat that was stored in wrong temperatures for a while. **** you
I work in retail as a stocker. I can confirm there is nothing more annoying then finding an item out of place, purposely left by costumers.
Just last week I found a gallon jug of oil in the freezer...... Someone actually opened the freezer door to put a gallon of oil in there.
I have done this, plus much more. Why? Because of a long ******* story that I am about to tell you....
A friend of mine use to work at one super center here. She left because **** was going down. The store has lost millions each year since it opened. It is built in the ghetto. Theft is common. Even by employees and management. So much so that Walmart heads came down and before they could arrive a couple of the head management at the Walmart, quit. For some ******* reasons, the ******** before the heads came rolling down, decided that they didn't need to waste money on maintaining the backup generators. Yes, they have them. So instead they drained the oil and fuel and left them. Firing the only person who knew how to work or maintain them. I suppose in an effort to cut costs. WELL, a lightning storm hit AFTER many heads rolled. The store is completely in disarray. I have no idea how they keep **** together. The power goes out for a couple of hours. All of the cold food and such goes bad. They trash it all. They cannot sell at a discount even if the food would of been okay despite the loss of the power. They must of trashed hundreds of thousands of dollars in food. Making sure no one dumpster dived. Some policy **** . (prob insurance).
not all walmarts have backup generators. we sure as hel dont. and we are the best walmart in the county. if there is a power outtage we literally stop selling stuff and check stock before calling it a day. the walmart you seem to be talking about had ****** mangers
So you come by and make a comment not solving a situation like this with another douche comment. Sounds more like you are a slave with no understanding of the real world.
I work in a grocery store, and I had one of the front end workers bring me a salad that had been abandoned in a freezer. The whole thing was ******* solid. Worse yet, I was checking dates on sandwiches once, and found one with a broken seal. Upon further inspection, I found one single bite taken out of the back. ONE. SINGLE. BITE. After which this bastard closed the package and put it back on the shelf. JUST STEAL IF FOR ***** SAKE, DON'T PUT IT BACK **************** .
You get used to it after a while, but it still bemuses me when you find drinks and **** among the arts and craft section. Like somebody suddenly decided they really needed those packets of sequin stars rather than their three bottles of share size diet coke.
who the **** even does this. WHY THE **** EVEN!? IF YOU DONT WANT IT PUT BACK DONT WAIT 5 ISLES AND STICK THE ICECREAM IN WITH THE HOTDOGS!! true story someone left 5 tubs of death by choclate icecream in the hotdog section. pretty sure thats sanitary issues along with the obvious ones.
People are talking about how they made an unhealthy decision. I'm thinking of how the department will have to shrink out the meat since it hasn't been refrigerated when found.
Man, I cannot tell you how many times I've had my ass busted from my section being a mess in the grocery store I work at, just because of people picking up an item and not putting it back. It drives me nuts, especially when someone is right next to the spot they picked it up from, AND DONT PUT IT BACK IN THE SAME SPOT YOU DUMB TITS.
I remember when I was younger, I had a friend who did **** like this all throughout Walmart. Eventually I was like, "Dude, cut it out. Just put it back where it belongs." She got mad at me and yelled about how Walmart specifically hires people to put **** where it belongs, so it's someone else's job to put it back, not hers. Stupid bitch probably still believes it.
at the walmart I work at currently, that **** doesn't fly, if it's even slightly warm it goes in our crap pile. Milk must not be out of the fridge for any longer than 20 minutes at most for us
Grocery stores lose THOUSANDS of dollars to this **** every week, its absolutely retarded and makes my blood boil. I purposefully put refrozen **** back into the counter, cause if you want double-frozen meat then so be it. Keep in mind, the losses from this damage are recuperated in price adjustments over the grand scheme.
I worked in a toy store with some of those price scanners scattered about the aisles. I couldn't turn around for 2 seconds without coming back to a big pile of **** under each scanner. I'm glad I don't work at that toy store any more.
After Christmas last year we were getting rid of the last of the wrapping paper, which we had on display in a big box by the register. I take out the wrapping paper and I see some more stuff in the box, turned out someone left a good sized roast and women's underwear in there.
