i find it hard to believe life would develop the same way it has if the earth looked like that. the lack of general access to water and the shortage of it would result in a widely different evolutionary path

For a long time, the Brazilian Ocean was oppressing the poor North Brazilian Sea, and forcing them to flow all of their tuna fish down south to it. But the North Brazilian Sea was sick of that **** . They wanted tuna too, and the Brazilian Ocean was not sending any fish up north. On that day, the various bodies of the North Brazilian Sea united together as one, and fought against the evil Brazilian Ocean. They dumped all of their tuna into Bermuda City, and declared their independence. It was a glorious day. They names themselves the United Ocean, and ate many sailors.
The End.

Mexico Land... an entire country turned into an amusement park.

Antarctica wouldn't be that open of an ocean as in reality it is just an archipelago under all that snow and ice.

But that's wrong you ******* retard, the majority of Antarctica has no solid land, that **** is 70% ice floating on the ocean.
Also if anything , the americas would be 1 single ocean.
