I've shot bottle rockets straight into the pond a step from my parents backyard(Twas a youngen)
MYTH busted they indeed even stick to the bottom and explode in the depths.
I'm not positive on this, but from what I know, I would assume the fuses are made with some type of explosive.
Technically, an explosive has oxygen in its molecular makeup. This is why they work in water, space, deep underground, etc. For example TNT's (trinitrotoluene's) formula is C7H5N3O6 (or C6H2(CH3)(NO2)3 if you prefer that format).
with that said, once you have the spontaneous reactions going, you probably won't even need oxygen source anymore since TNT already have oxygen molecules in them.
But lot of people will mistake this by thinking there will be explosion like on earth; no. You need to plan it right or bad **** will happen.
explosion is indeed used quite often in rocket launching into space to separate stages.
let me reword my whole point. YES and NO. You could have TNT explode in outer space but no without method that's quite different from on earth. With that, it's different from what we saw in that gif of firework exploding underwater.
Visco-fuses(The most common kind of fuse) are made out of black powder, cotton thread and a different varietys of coatings. Black powder contains KNO3(Potassium nitrate) which is an oxidizer, when it burnes it releases oxygen. So fuses can burn without oxygen, however it cant burn wet, and thats what the coating is for, to keep the powder inside dry and nice.
Those green fuses that come on fireworks will stay lit if dropped in water. We used to light those Ground-bloomers with report , and dropped them in water and watch them explode. Also, like what mythicdawn said, they don't require outside oxygen. We didn't have to wait for the fire to get inside, which is what gruga said.
Sooo if i light a firework then dip the fuse in water its still light? Trying to wrap my drunk brain around this. If it stays light after watr then what do you do if you dont want it light anymore?
The proper format for a joke like that would be saying something like "Thanks, chemistryxplain!" because we have people that have dedicated their lives to answering **** like this.
Then hate me because the first time I did both, I got amazing gear that got me to Level 32 when I was at Level 29.
Do them hard, doing them on easy is for casuals.
If you're level 34 and getting mad that you can't go further, it's because there isn't a level 35 yet. Wait for the next DLC. You're the highest level.
Well, technically, every game is repetitive and boring.
Battlefield, every single match is the same, do objective, kill enemies, avoid dying, repeat.
Halo, Do objective, kill enemies, avoid dying, repeat
Destiny, Do objective, kill enemies, avoid dying, level up, repeat
Bordelands, Do mission (Objective), Kill enemies, avoid dying, level up, repeat.
Dark Souls, Run around enemies, stab them in the back, avoid dying die a lot , get better **** , repeat.
There is barely any game that doesn't get repetitive after a while. You just have to find the repeat you mind the least.
Teah but the difference is: Destiny FORCES you to replay boring **** and horrible boss battles for an rng chance to get the endgame gear which you HAVE to have to reach the good stuff.
Other games make you WANT to play again because the gameplay is fun and engaging and the boss battles AREN'T horrible. And you have the OPTION to EARN good gear (instead of just being given it via rng) if you WANT to and your SKILLED enough.
I had more fun in 8 hours of bloodborne than I did in 200 hours of destiny.
Inb4 why did you play so long gif you hated it. I dont know, I was hooked. I kept thinking "one more run and I'll get the gear I need" but Then I realized that If I hate it, why put up with it?
There's actually a thing that if you play with friends on the raid's hardest difficulty, you have a higher chance to get better things. But eh.
I've had more fun playing with friends in Destiny for 6 hours than 2 months of playing alone in Dank Souls. But I had more fun 6 months in Skyrim than all of the other games combined.
yeah the hardest difficulty, where everything one-shots you, you spend hours shooting the same enemy in the head hundreds of times, and you spend most of the time reviving people, or getting revived.
finally to beat it and... you get nothing. some ascendant material. that's it.
the game is trash.
>I did POE level 32 when I was 29 with level 34 friends.
>Died a lot, but I don't care, had fun. Enemies one shotted me, especially snipers
>Got to the end, got two Legendary Engrams and one Exotic weapon (Truth. The rocket launcher)
>Didn't even have the special key
---Later---
>Ask same friends to do Crota level 32 (Hard, or in my case "Very Hard")
>Do first step just three people, tried over 10 times.
>Friend's Friends join us
>CavalryHasArrived.png
>Fail a few times, Getting either materials or legendary weapons after each steps
>Get to the end.
>Get a ******* of materials, three Legendary Engrams, One Legendary Weapon and one Exotic Primary (No Land Beyond)
MFW I hear you getting upset over dying a lot on hard difficulty. On Crota raid hard, you can't be revived. Only way to revive is if you're a Sunsinger Warlock with Fireborn. So you clearly weren't on hardest difficulty if you could revive people or be revived. Only place you can revive on a level 32 mission is Prison of Elders. And that's after 25 seconds. I surely died more than you ever did.
Mission rewards are given depending on the mission's difficulty. Not your level.
Borderlands have Leveled drops. Destiny has Mission difficulty drops. So you were only doing a mega grind because it seems you didn't do a smaller grind with reliable people on a harder difficulty.
I'm only defending this game because you have clearly had a sub-par experience than I have had. And I personally think it's unfair to us all.
Well, what's better, being carried through hard things to get good things to be able to carry others later on? Or getting mad at a game for either playing on a lower level on on a Story mission?
Nope, last time I attempted PoE 35, one of us got caterpillared, the other monkeyed, and it sent me out to join the monkey, wasting 4 hours of progress.
That's where Gjallarhorn comes in handy. Get 3 lv 34s with max Gjallys and pound the **** out of Skolas. Make sure to have Heavy Syntheses. Use
-Titan (D), Warlock (SS), Hunter (BD)
-Hunter (BD), Hunter (GS), Titan (D)
-Warlock (V), Titan (D), Titan (D)
And if you charge your supers and communicate, you can ******** that Wolfaboo in a few minutes or less.
I appreciate the strategy, but really the only thing thats stopping me is the KTO stuff.
The game has been out for almost 9 months and still, I get caterpillared, weasled, and other stuff that only happens when I am so close to completing something very tough.
Funny Destiny Story time? I'm going for it.
>Have this friend who loves pistols
>His goal is to collect every pistol in the game
>He's missing literally Thorn and Word of Crota
>We do Crota hard
>Succeed.
>Literally everyone except specific friend gets Word of Crota.
It's been two weeks now and I haven't heard from him since. You think he an hero'd?
For it to be worthy of being called hand canon, it needs to be a canon.
Word of Crota has 300 damage, which is lower than most easily accessible primary weapon.
2 DLC in and it's about where I expected it to be. Trials was a huge thrill going flawless, Prison is pretty fun, and the crucible has finally reached a decent power balance. The story is progressing and there's much more to come. Yes it could've been better at launch, but having stuck with it, Bungie has figured out how to make things work.
