you know what, if J.K Rowling really did say Hermione is Black or Harry is indian i wouldn't mind it one bit. Might make it a bit more interesting, albeit less relatable .
But they arent...........they are written to be white ppl. Shame but they are and changing their races feels dirty/cringy/retarded. But i still would like to see a world where those characters are not white.

i see this a lot, and i'm just wondering why people care so much
hermione is white, in the books, simply by skin color, and only mentioned in like two lines
no part of her cultural heritage, customs or anything at all make her white, or anything. however, her "mudblood" origins make her role perfect for a light-skinned black woman, to strengthen the theme of mixed heritage. but you guys just think it's "political correctness gone mad"? that's a bit pathetic, to cling to these insignificant things to get mad at.
