I think we should have an official FunnyJunk Community Forum. I believe this has been attempted once or twice in the past, but has been red thumbed into oblivion, but I believe the community has become a lot stronger, especially since Admin started getting more involved with us. But rather than attempt to ask questions and basically start a comment thread, for the sake of keeping FunnyJunk funny, I think an actual Forum would be fantastic. That way, the community can get together as individual people with a voice rather than scattered content/comments. A place where we can come together for reasons outside the site.
> Users starting a conversation/idea on here can shift over to the Forum and continue their thread, where others can contribute and easily get involved
> Users can post in a Site specific thread and toss around ideas and opinions on what can be added/changed to the site without being deleted, thumbed and flagged.
> Help/Advice threads can be added for the benefit of the community

There's a lot more that can be done, and possibilities endless...but those are the main thoughts. I've spent quite a while talking to users about matters completely unrelated to FJ and think is would bond us all as a people, rather than just users of a site who randomly stumble across eachother.

A nice conversation starter is all that is needed with the opening that it can change from one topic to the next. such as "how about this weather?" or "what did you think about the latest football match" (soccer for we Americans). stuff like that gets people talking and sharing ideas, so if you really want to start something start it with a neutral statement that people can take multiple sides on.
