i got ground zeroes yesterday, just because i asked my friend how well it was running.
with a 4 year old PC, i'm amazed that i have (almost) stable 60 on high settings.
Fox engine is a miracle, and if you try to tell me it is not made from stolen Slav magic, i won't believe you.

gonzta [OP]ONLINE (09/03/2015) [-] It is, in my opinion at least, pretty goddamn great... and unless your computer is a complete potato... I dunno. The FOX engine is just so good, my PC, while not crap is a bit on the old side by now but it can still run it at max and 60FPS no problem.
So, unless your PC is like.. godawful you might be able to run it. (A shame there's no demo you could try out to check I think)

funpunk ONLINE (09/04/2015) [-] My PC's pretty much a potato battery at this point in time. I can't even run Saints Row 3, although Skyrim and Bioshock Infinite work just fine for some reason. I would love to just get a PS4 and be done with this thing. People always go on about how great PCs are, and I'm sick of hearing about it. If I had a console, then I would just be able to plug in and play and not have to worry about compatibility and all that other ******** . I don't give a **** about FPS or graphics or any of the other reasons why consoles are "inferior", I just want to be able to play the damn game. Sorry about the rant, I just needed to get this off my chest.

As for consoles, whatever floats your boat, I feel that consoles these days aren't as good as they used to (Having to install games and then download and install a bunch of patches kind of defeats the whole "plug and play" concept for me, might as well be a PC) But yeah consoles are easier and faster to use, cheaper on the short term too. I don't mind the graphics and all that ( **** I mean I play, enjoy and understand Dwarf Fortress) but I just like the ability to do other stuff while I play my games. Also mods, all the mods.
