The lightbulb is part of the results display of a program meant to scan posts, usually pictures, for text and post it for people who have issues loading the image. The madness comes from its inability to correctly read text due to programming limitations, and the ensuing terrible mistakes, which are sometimes even funnier than the original post. As you can see above, it has begun to develop self-awareness, hence the pun under the picture. You may panic now.

lightbulb attempts to "read" the post in contrast to what is written in it. More often than not, it will read things wrong (mostly because the fonts used in posts are different from the font used in, for example, this comment; also because of background colors), and it will just go with jibberish and random things, to the point where it will even attempts to read a post with no words.

Basically, lightbulb will sometimes do very weird things as part of it's jibberish, including what seems like a pun in this post's lightbulb.

Also, the reason why it's called a lightbulb is believed to be because it is hard to see things on a screen when light is reflecting from it, including the usual lightbulb light. Thus, it is difficult to "read" this post when light is reflecting from it (once again, using different fonts and the different background colors).

Just because she learned how to appear in public and read scripted lines, doesn't make me respect her more.

She did sexual favors to win a competition and she purposefully made a sex tape to release it for money. A good business move but also one that removes all respect I would have for them.

I am sure she doesn't care though, she has a lot of money.

If you're over the age of like 18, dating a virgin (all non virgins would be considered 'sloppy seconds') is kinda creepy. And I say this as a 20 year old virgin girl. Sure, she made and sold a sex tape but I'm not entirely sure you'd be as judgmental when you learn that your Mum/Sister/Girlfriend/Girl friend flashed a dude one time to get a cigarette.

I actually have, but I regret it deeply. I play games obsessively, and when I was fourteen I traded a picture of myself naked for some rare goods on a particular MMO. It spread like wild fire, as you'd expect, and I was briefly suicidal because an older member of this particular group I played with began extorting me. Luckily, someone saved my ass, supported me.

That experience has taught me a lot, and I'll never ever do it again. Nowadays, sex and the body in sacred and something to be shared between lovers, not casual acquaintances and nobodies.

Oh, what I meant it, there are a lot of people who are 'easy'. They hook up at parties or bars, or sleep with whoever on the first date. I don't do that. I've only considered the possibility of doing so with one ex boyfriend before.

P.S. I forgot to address the mom thing, seeing as my mom grew up so poor that they lived in a tent on government property in Seoul, Korea and were harassed by officials to vacate, I doubt that happened to her either. They raised and sold pigs (getting food scraps from neighbors to feed them) in order to afford basic schooling. There was no time for something as petty as the cigarette scenario.

Flashing someone is not the same thing (not comparable to "sloppy seconds" anyway) and even so if they are morally ok with flashing for a cigarette then they probably aren't my type. I also really don't like smokers/smoking.

I am a 25 year old virgin (practice abstinence) and these things are completely up to personal preference. I prefer a girl who does not exhibit signs of future martial problems, but I don't speak for everyone.

In regards to the post, respect works the same way and I wouldn't respect anyone for those actions as they aren't actions to be admired or aspired

I don't like Paris at all. She's bland and annoying. However she is a **** tonne more tame than some of the people out there. I have seen sloppy seconds, believe me, and she's just not one of them.

Ok so she flashed an official for a piece of bread then. Same deal. I personally, I tend to agree with your general outlook. While I'm not doing one of those marriage sanctity dealies, I just haven't found 'Mr. Right' if you will. People who post excessively revealing things on facebook make me extremely uncomfortable. But she is famous based on her fame. She has no talent to sell, or product to back. She lives based on how often she is mentioned on twitter or tagged on facebook. So from that standpoint, doing a sex tape is a fantastic business strategy.

I respect her for it cause it's pretty smart. I am a business woman myself, only I sell graphics, company designs, websites and things not my personal image. If I could cut off my hair (something very special to me, mind you. I have very long hair) and suddenly have twenty more regular clients because of it, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I would not lose respect for someone cutting their hair to earn money (gift of the magi story). If you made a sex tape with a random person intent on selling it for a quick buck then I would lose respect (or in her case simply have none to begin with since I never heard of her before that). Your comparisons are always non sexual so they aren't good comparisons.

Just because something is smart, doesn't mean it is respectable. Hitler used the Jewish population as a scapegoat to many of Germany's problems at the time in order to unite the population into backing his plans and it resulted in a genocide. It was a smart move, very tactical and he used it to great effect, but I won't respect him for it.

But the thing is Hitler wasn't a bad man. He thought he was doing the right thing. A little extremist, sure, but he wasn't some evil villain character killing people because it's funny. The US war on Afghanistan/Iraq/Iran/Wherever the **** it is these days is quite similar, in my opinion. They want oil and minerals they don't have, and they're using these first and second world countries as a scapegoat. They say they're only killing those who are attacking them, but the amount of unarmed civilian casualties is ridiculous. Hitler is a monster but the US is armed forces are heroes, right? Yea.

At this point I think you're just stubbornly defending yourself not liking her, just because you don't like her. It's like people who don't like pop music just because it's pop music.

Wow, I have no idea why you said anything in that paragraph. I do not mean that in a mean or condescending way, it was just pointless and off topic. I used the action of Hitler as an example, not the man. He used a scapegoat and was successful, but the result was the death of millions so I would not respect someone for simply being successful. That is the full extent of the example and everything you added about him has no bearing on this topic.

You say I am stubbornly defending not liking her, I never even said I didn't like her, I don't respect her and the action in the post don't make me respect her because what she did wasn't a respectful act. She used sex as a bribe and filmed sex to get money. Just because she can read a joke suddenly that equals more respect? No. It is also PURELY opinion for a person to determine what they respect. The fact that you are trying to argue with whom I should respect is mind boggling, I have no idea your purpose or point. I am the one who will not respect a public whore and how you feel about it doesn't change anything about that fact. Who you respect is your own opinion and my feelings on the topic are just as irrelevant.

P.S. again, your examples are so random, I have not seen a valid connection in any of your examples so far. I feel like you do it on purpose. =/

My examples tend to be random and.. to be honest, it makes perfect sense to me, but rarely make sense to other people. It confounds me that people don't understand what I see to be pure logic.

I don't like not being liked, I don't like others not being liked, I don't like people who don't like people en masse. So when someone makes a judgement based on something they know nothing about, on someone they have never met, it bugs me. It pisses me off. I generally try to make them see things my way, that judging people is normal but you don't necessarily need to be so obnoxious about it, and sometimes that turns into an argument.

That's ******* disappointing. The fact that she appears on Saturday Night Live, and reads some scripted jokes can transform your entire opinion about a human being is pretty bad form, OP. Why don't we put Ted Bundy on stage and give him some knock knock jokes, or Charlie Manson some one-liners. Maybe that'll be enough to support "Free Manson".

I actually kinda felt like miley cyrus was pretty normal after seeing her on saturday night live. She's a young girl rebelling against crap and doing stupid things, we all did, only difference is she's on the vmas instead of sneaking out of her house with a lowcut top on under her sweater so her parents don't notice.

Only difference is it's extremely public like I said, and her producers/managers are exploiting the crap out of it. I mean they're probably selling it to her like "this is empowering" not "we're gonna use you up and spit you out like every teen star". So in a way I felt bad for her really, she doesn't have the age to see through it.
