my head unit is an alpine ine-s920, my cars speakers, subs, amps, and wiring is all focal.

Everythings retails roughly $5200, I paid less than $1500

damn it feels good to work for a dealer

Personally I hate most modern car radio's

They're usually silver with obnoxious LED's and just look tacky

Here you can find a great selection of vintage looking radios with modern tech such as aux/mem card etc

Wires are so outdated. Bluetooth master race.

USB ports with sticks are even better as then you won't need to fiddle with a phone or iPod or something which distracts you from driving even more.

I'd rather have something that enables me to change songs without getting distracted, you known, driving not being a side-activity.

Actually, it's fun when you have multiple devices on one source. Like a friend of mine's car. Three of us have our phones on bluetooth all the time. Whenever we get in, whoever's phone gets connected first gets to be the DJ until we get out again.

When this is reposted again 6 years from now no one will know what the **** you're saying.

"10 years ago" meant something different when this content was made.

Erm.... but isn't using earphones in a car illegal in most places?

Last time I checked, a car stereo's purpose IS to play music. The point is that you don't really need all those controls anymore, since you can connect your phone to the car's sound system through an AUX port and play back music through that. I mean, if you used headphones, it would be like connecting a pair of speakers to another pair of speakers. You need something to play the music too :U

My father has someyhing similar to this .
It works by making a fake music station . You plug in any music divice
set the FM frequency to something that does have an actual station , and then you just find it in your stereo .
Its some realy cool **** .
