in complete different points in

This blew my mind

So two things:

1) Never expected front page, thanks for that

2) I understand why they're associated with different points, as many of you said, because their significant acts were decades apart. But I had no idea they were born in the same year, and it did take me by surprise to learn, I thought it was an interesting fact. Sorry to any who thought it was a dumb point to make.

well they are in different points in history, you know, cause martin luther king died later, it's not like they did their 'great deeds to society' at the same time, luther was much older when he did so.

>Cleopatra of Egypt lived approx. 69 b.c.
>great pyramids were built ~2500 b.c.
>moon landing was in 1969 a.d.
>Cleopatra lived chronologically closer to the first moon landing than the construction of the pyramids.

We also live nearer (time wise) to the T Rex than the T Rex lived to the Stegosaurus.

Their famous points in history were far apart though. Anne Frank was a kid when we learn of her and Martin Luther King Jr. was late 30s. Not that far apart, but long enough to where we don't associate them with each other.

That's because their notable deeds were DONE at different points in time.

Different periods in history? Well...one died in the 60's and one died in the 40's...the time for which they were famous was entirely different, and in different countries.

So this is kind of dumb.

Anne Frank lived till 15... Martin Luther Kind was killed at 39... so yeah. Less than half of their lives actually run concurrently.

They were alive at the same time but their actions did not happen in the same periods of history

"most people associate them as being in completely different points in history"

there is a ******* reason for this, because when MLK was off making history, Anne Frank was polluting our ozone because she was ash

I said "Too soon," implying she recently died,
but she's obviously been dead for a long time.

Well it was a while after Anne Franke did her history that Martin Luthar did his history. Their historical happenings were far apart.
