Fact is, he's going to die anyway, assuming someone's trapped him in this device. He'll try and try and once he tires, he's dead. So this fails to be motivational. It's telling me try as hard as you can, life's gonna strangle you anyway.

Like pearls in the sky, diamonds were made as our sparks

Wether or not we knew how much time was given to us.
We always thought that forever was destined,
Two lovebirds flying high, nothing but the sky
stretching outwards clouds like rivers of absurdity.
Because when I looked at you I was infected
with stupidity.
Eyes like rugbies,
Lips as smooth as the ocean waves,
crashing down on my shoulders.
Because I'll always love you, once I get older.
Skin smoother than silk, but that's
what my fingers screamed once I ran them down your back.
Nothing could bring back those moments.
Even when we fought,
Volcanos would erupt, leaving nothing but dust
and charchoal our pasts getting burned in the flurry
of blows.
Forever it took to make you smile.
But hey, I knew if I ran into the store, got you
a flower two and some chocolate to boot,
we'd laugh our asses off because we fought
about the broken fridge,
burning bridges as we went along.
But it was all right,
Now, more than often.
I visit you, imagine how the times would go
as I dream about a future no one will ever know.
To lay wake, every night, imagining our kids
growing up and smiling towards the skies and
one day falling in love like you and I.
But now that you're gone.
I say it to the stars,
As the moonlight dances,
and as the sky collapses, at least we'll know.
That you rest beneath my feet and
no matter where I go,
We'll always be together foreverknown.
