I love the nothing box

Why Men And Women Think
Differently. This Guy Nails It.
Women are much more complicated than men. Men
are very simple. And yeu know why? It' s because
their brains are so different. First, I want to start with
men. Men' s brains are very unique, Most women
don' t realize that whether we are having sex er
watching sports, our brains are made up of little
boxes, We' got a box for everything. We' got a
bex for the car. We' got a box for the money.
We' got a box for the job. We' got a box for You.
We' got a box for the kids. We' got a bex for
your mother somewhere in the basement.
We' got boxes everywhere. And the rule is: the
boxes don' t touch. When a man discusses a particular
subject, we to that particular box, we pull that box
out, we open the box, and we discuss only what is in
THAT BOX. And then we close the hex and put it away
being very, very careful not to much other boxes.
blow women' s brains are very, very different from
men' s brains,, Women' s brains are made up of a big
ball of wire. And everything is connected to
everything. The money is connected the car
and the car is connected to your job and your
kids are connected ta your mother and
It' s like the internet
superhighway, and it' s all driven by energy that we call
emotion. It' s one of the reasons why women tend to
remember... everything.
Because if yeu take an event and you connect it to an
emotion and it burns in your memory and you can
remember it forever, The same thing happens for
men. It just doesn' t happen very often, because quite
don' t care. wemen tend to care about
everything. And she just loves it.
Now men, we have a box in our brain that most
wemen are not aware of. This particular box has
nothing in it. In fact, we call it the 'nothing box.' And
of all the boxes a man has in his brain, the 'nothing
box' is em faverite bex. If a man has a chance, hem
to his nothing box every time. That' s why a man can
do something seemingly completely brain dead for
hours on end. You know, like fishing.
Now they' actually measured this. The University of
Pennsylvania a couple of years ago did a study and
discovered that men have the ability think about
absolutely nothing, and still breathe.
Women can' t do it. Their mind has never stopped, And
they don' t understand the 'nothing box', and it drives
them CRAZY because nothing drives a woman more
crazy and makes them feel more irritated than to
watch a man doing nothing.

Sometimes I go into the nothing box while I'm tying my shoes.

And I'll just... sit there. With half-tied shoes. Sitting, thinking about absolutely nothing, like some kind of shoelace induced Nirvana. I think if somebody just covered me in shoelaces I'd accidentally become the next Buddha.

Spooky how prevalent this is in culture. We wear boxers, we watch boxing, we eat pizza from a box! This guy's onto something indeed.

I don't have a nothing box. I wish I did, but I don't. Never get peace and quiet in my head.

So a bunch of guys made up a reaserch about how men are so good at doing nothing? Gosh, that smells like ******** . Women can think about nothing and do nothing just as well, I can confirm that as a woman, a one who has many female friends also excellent at not doing **** .

One can watch tv, play video games, go fishing, another can paint nails, take a walk or simply sit at the crapper and ponder at the infinity of universe. A pure blackout also happens to everyone - when you wake up int he morning, put one sock on and sit like that with a blank mind. It's not a thing unique for a gender.

The only reason this "scientific" fact was invented is that now a guy can do absolute **** the whole day, get yelled at for being useless and have an excuse "But honey, you must understand, it's my nothing box!"

I sort of like to think of it as something similar to walled segments of a city. Usually the gates are open and thoughts are free to travel to and fro, but if something happens that merits closing off a sector, there can be absolutely no travel in and out. Like, quarantine for thoughts. For instance, if there's some vague **** that bothers me which will remain unnamed because there's no point mentioning it on FJ, I usually just "close the gate" on that sector. Put it out of mind until the rest of the "city" is prepared to deal with it.

In times of "peace" there's free travel throughout, thoughts can all link to each other if they must, but during times of duress the problem sites are sectioned off and avoided. It's worked pretty well for me.

Also I've never really tried to put the way my mind works into words before so that probably all came out as jumbled, incomprehensible mess. Whatever.

The Book of Mormon was on to this.

"Imagine that your brain is made of tiny boxes, and find the one that's gay and CRUSH IT! Okay?"

When I was in highschool I wasn't a very hard worker, average grades with no effort.
The only thing I did was sit back, put my earbuds in and listen to some good music.
Needless to say I didn't get on very well with my female teachers, but had good relations with the males somewhat.
I told them if I got a C or above in the class, there was no problem. Did exactly that and managed to piss off close to the entirety of the female staff except my P.A teacher (Drama), she was cool.

We are wired differently, not into boxes and wires, but womens brains are connected across, from the sides - making them more emotional, giving them a better memory and actually supporting old stereotypes...
With mens brains being connected back to front/vise versa giving them better coordinated movements
The only place men were more connected sideways than longways are in the cerebellum, which works with our motor control

When placed like that, it sounds as if I have a mind of a woman, but with an empty box, or something similar, and I'm a guy.
