Being a father myself, the way he repeatedly denied his own daughter even after a positive DNA match is enough to make him a lowlife douche in my eyes.
Funfact: Macs actually DO get viruses. They're using a very narrow term of a "virus" as their marketing scheme, so they can get away with saying that. It's basically like a product that says "sugar free" but contains caffeine.
Saying "Sucralose" instead of "caffiene" would be more accurate. Caffiene is similar to augar, but is a completely different animal. People don't say "no sugar!" as an advertising scheme to suggest it won't keep you up like people advertise "Caffiene free!!" It's a weight loss thing.
He also fired all of the team helping him develop the first Macintosh computers just before they distributed them so he would get almost all of the profit. The guy was a megalomaniac and an utter dick pickle.
I've never really had a problem with any memes the internet has brought up, no matter how stupid or pointless it was I never really had a problem with it. But this one meme, this ******* thing is the only one I have ever had a problem with. Any ACTUAL unpopular opinions are going to get thumb downed/downvoted into oblivion so how the hell is it that this meme is still managing to get front page with these "unpopular" opinions. Honestly it seems more like a meme where people just stuff some edgy idea or statement into it...
\rant
Because funnyjunk doesn't apply for the entire english speaking planet? And funnyjunk could quite easily have attracted a large group of people whose opinions differ from the norm, but conform with themselves?
This meme basically capitalises on the idea of tight-knit community which can feel safe in it's ability to defy the mainstream.
You do have a point. Well, the wife and I are going shopping tomorrow, so I could stop into the Apple store and put it up on all the iPads and crap on display, then watch the fireworks
Ok, yeah I get it, in certain places they are extremely unpopular or taboo. I'm just saying that on this site it doesn't seem to be 'unpopular' or 'unsaid'.
Never saw Steve Jobs as a Saint, but your desc is wrong
Initially he did deny his paternity...
but later then reconnected, she lived with him for a few years and he payed for her to attend Harvard University
Everyone knows that Steve Jobs was an absolute dick, and the character limit in this comment isn't enough to even begin to list the reasons. This isn't the least bit an unpopular opinion.
The thing is though is that a lot of apple fags think that he was Jesus 2.0. Also he has the whole he is dead so now it doesn't matter that he was an absolute cunt thing we do with celebrities.
also if im not mistaken the computer the guy in you gif has is a mac so 11/10 mate
As a programmer of eight years majoring in IT soon I can agree with this post. Steve Jobs was a complete ass hat that not only shunned his own family but through his colleagues on partners under the bus on multiple occasions. He was also greedy, I remember reading something about a thing with Warren Buffet where billionaires would agree to give away half their money to charity or something, Steve Jobs was one of the few people in the world to sign on.
His own ignorance got him killed. He found out he had cancer early on and tried to go through some spiritual **** on a weird vegan diet thinking he could beat the disease without modern medicine and surgery. He thought he was a god among men from the things I've read about him. It's why he was so successful because of his thought process, but in the end it got him killed.
With all that being said, the man was an innovator, though, and he ran his company with an iron fist. Most of the stupid decisions Apple is making these days (like the hideous design of ios7) is most likely the result of Job's no longer being in charge. I do like Apple and own a Macbook Air but for leadersI have more respect for Bill Gates.
I think there has been so many opinions and stories fabricated and exaggerated by people to fit their own agenda that there's no real good way to judge whether what I'm hearing he did at any given time is what he actually did or just something made up and such as I think it's presumptuous to judge him as either evil or good since none of us really know the full story.
