>posing for a picture with a loaded firearm

You are either young, or stupid.

Maybe both.

What will happen?

The invisible magic gun gnomes will come and pull the trigger?

You've got to be really stupid to accidentally shoot a gun.

Yeah, I'll go with both.

First of all you've got to be severely mentally or physically impaired to accidentally pull a trigger, and second: guns have safety switches so this isn't an issue anyway.

You are being completely unreasonable and making this a much bigger deal than it is.

>You've got to be severely mentally or physically impaired to accidentally pull a trigger
Accidents happen, good habits prevent this.
LIKE NOT HAVING YOUR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER IN THE FIRST PLACE.
>Guns have safety switches
Like all mechanical safety devices, they may fail at the worst of times.

>You are being completely unreasonable
And you are being completely retarded.

Use good habits, and you may fix that retardation before your dumb ass gets his hand on a firearm.

Don't be so unrealistic. I'm not saying you shouldn't practice gun safety or have good habits, I'm just saying it's completely unrealistic that something would go wrong with a loaded weapon if you're cautious with it, let alone the safety switch which renders it practically impossible.

What's next you're telling me I'm "young and stupid" because I used a knife this morning to spread the butter.

"OMG, A POTENTIALLY DEADLY WEAPON!. A MILLION THINGS COULD'VE GONE WRONG! YOU'RE SUCH A DUMB-ASS!"

Put your mindless crude asociations of weapons being dangerous aside for a second and use your brain.

Once again, I do not condone the unnecessary risks, and I'm not saying you shouldn't practice gun safety.
But please don't pretend that it's really dangerous to do this, or that you have to be young or stupid to do that.

You're grossly overreacting.

Nice strawman.

>Put your mindless crude associations of weapons being dangerous aside
Isn't the point of a weapon to be dangerous?
Respect your weapon, it will respect you.

>And I'm not saying you shouldn't practice gun safety.
>But please don't pretend that it's really dangerous to do this, or that you have to be young or stupid to do that.

>Gun safety
You keep saying this phrase, but I am not sure you get what it means.

Seeing how you haven't brought in anything relevant to my one and only point I'll just assume you realized at least the faintest bit of your irrationality.

No, I just see a valid point.

You should treat a loaded weapon cautiously.

Just the same way you should treat an unloaded one.

Like it's loaded.

That wasn't the point.

I never said you shouldn't.

This isn't about what you should or shouldn't do argument, I though saying this twice would in comment #83 would be enough...

-" I'm not saying you shouldn't practice gun safety or have good habits"
-"Once again, I do not condone the unnecessary risks, and I'm not saying you shouldn't practice gun safety."

...but clearly I was wrong.

Yes.

But he didn't have the safety switch on AND pulled the trigger.

That's incredibly stupid and incredibly easy to prevent. This won't happen to anyone with the slightest bit of common sense and with the tiniest bit of cautiousness.
Literally all you have to do is just not pull the trigger or put the safety switch on.

...Sure seemed like you were saying otherwise.

Still shouldn't pose for a picture with a loaded firearm, because you aren't shooting it anyway, why load it?

You're forgetting the +1 in the chamber. Won't do much, but it could be enough.

****, nevermind, on further inspection, the chamber is empty. I'll commit seppuku, for my family.
