Macs are not designed for art, but from what I heard there is pretty good software for it on mac.

Just gonna TL;DR this:
I use a PC, have an emulator for a certain MAC software audio editing software. I'm not gonna get rid of my games just because the software I need to create my music was founded on a toilet platform.
