Just watched episode 520 last week and I'm starting to really like One Piece.

It took you 500 episodes to like it? I don't blame you though, it can be slow paced, haha

Usopp is the master of ************ . Hell he almost killed someone he *********** so hard.
The best thing about him though is that he knows he's a weakling so he looks for crack in the enemies armour.
That's kinda the reason I love the OP B team. A team are all "Fite dem cunts" while team B is more "We should look for weaknesses and the such"... Then there is Franky. He is Super

Usopp has been my least favorite for the entire series, though I do like him now that he finally seems to have manned the **** up.
User avatar #89 to #88 - itsthetie [OP]ONLINE (09/28/2015) [-]
I loved him ever since he got recruited. He was funny, and scared of anything. But the scene where Nami and Sanji were Scared of tarantulas and Usopp was ice cold, totally won me over. He can be badass when it's really needed, and he'll be a scared bitch as well. But at least he owns up and shows what he's worth in the end. That makes him a great character to me

I liked the scene where Usopp saves Nami in the bar and is all "Hey there young lady, would you care to have a drink with me?" I thought they were going to be a thing after that

Man I hoped they were going to, but Oda's a cocktease. No relationships within the strawhat crew ever, dude confirmed that in an interview or two
#201 to #198 - telfyr (09/28/2015) [-]
Well that's rude, Usopp deserves to wet his whistle And imagine what he could do with that nose. I'd bet there's plenty of R34 depicting that

just because a show is popular means it isn't good? that makes you a hipster and a weeaboo It may not some dramatic, artistic masterpiece, but it is still entertaining, and that is the point of a television show.
User avatar #145 to #118 - klina (09/28/2015) [-]
entertaining =/= good

naruto is entertaining, and i love the **** out of it, but that doesn't make it good
#302 to #145 - vvthegreats (09/29/2015) [-]
Okay then define 'good" if it does xactly what people in the entertainment business are supposed to do: entertain. I mean it isn't GOOD good, but it can be good.
User avatar #305 to #302 - klina (09/29/2015) [-]
you're just throwing words around without any meaning, form an argument and then I'll consider discussing this with you
#306 to #305 - nebuelaeus (10/01/2015) [-]
"good" in the sense you mean it isn't really a good way to describe something like a tv show, because it is entirely subjective. it is all up to personal preference. If you want to be objective then a good show is one that excels at what it is meant to achieve. A tv show is meant to garner views and public attention, to the ends of generating advertisement revenue. Naruto definitely achieves that. it is highly watched and everyone knows what it is. hence it is a good show.

now what i assume you mean by good (something that is well thought out with an engaging and exciting plot as well as deeper themes) is something that is subjective. What one person thinks is "good", another thinks is trash or else rom-coms and soap operas wouldn't exist . so saying that it isn't a "good" show means absolutely nothing to the opposite group.

there. i gave you an argument

I dont know how, but you guys managed to talk about anime with recommending stuff and not mention boku no pico, I think there is some change being had here. I also love your beard. and comics
User avatar #65 to #63 - itsthetie [OP]ONLINE (09/28/2015) [-]
Well, that's a classic that doesn't even need mentioning. Everybody know Boku No Pico is the **** . Also, thank you man, both took a lot of work, especially the beard
User avatar #67 to #65 - rebornpotato (09/28/2015) [-]
That's true, it's a must watch for anyone really. And good luck for future drawing and beard growing, i know how long that **** takes, i've been in the process of growing a beard for a bit now and thought of shaving it a few times but had to muscle through it
User avatar #71 to #67 - itsthetie [OP]ONLINE (09/28/2015) [-]
Thank you so much man, I'll do my best in both regards. And trust me bro, a beard takes a lot of genetics. But even with weak cheek game, you can make it seem genuine if you let it all grow out. But take some friends' opinions seriously. You don't wanna end up neckbearding it for three months and have a weak mustache. Everything needs to come together after at least two months, otherwise, you's not ready
User avatar #264 to #71 - eanirae (09/29/2015) [-]
Got any tips on grooming your beard and how to keep it tidy? Currently I've just let it grow, but I wish I knew ******** about taking care of your own beard. I've usually just shaved it all off after a while, but I want to keep my beard.
#314 to #264 - itsthetie [OP]ONLINE (10/01/2015) [-]
And here's a picture after going to a hair dresser who "shaped" it for me. I guess what I'm saying is, groom and shape your beard, don't let it grow wildly
#313 to #264 - itsthetie [OP]ONLINE (10/01/2015) [-]
Shave it in a line from ear to ear, so the beard on your neck looks groomed into the rest. Otherwise, go to a salon, they can make that **** look neat if they have something to work with

< here's a picture where I kept the cheek beard shorter than the mustache and chin
