It's the only one I found that really fits. Advice Mallard and coffee guy are more telling others what i think they should do, and "am i the only one here" would become way too wordy and aggressively toned for what i was going for.
But go ahead, prove me wrong and caption the right meme.
If everyone used adblock we'd probably have to pay to use websites. I don't want that. A little 30 second ad or having to listen to an autoplay for a bit is a small sacrifice to be able to use the internet for free.
**** son, maybe they got jobs? I never said everyone paid for their own websites, many pay out of their own pocket and many use ads to get some extra revenue. Some just go full retard and fill their websites with annoying as **** ads to get as much money as possible ruining the site along the way. I pay with bluehost 100 bucks a year for unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage. It baffles me when other non streaming websites beg for money like it's the end of the world and actually fool people into giving them hundreds of dollars in donations every month while the cost to run a text website is far less than what they claim to be.
If you're going to use ads, then you do so in a nice way without running the time people spent on your site, you don't go full retarded with annoying hard to close and loud ads because that just forces people to use adblock. It used to be that it was cool and nice when your site used to be popular, now webmasters are only interested in how they can milk their visitors and how they can get free money.
Who thinks it is a clever idea to just auto play an ad? Are you that desperate for attention and money?
And another thing, if you're gonna sell a car, phone, or any other product, have the commercial make sense...
Download. Adblocker. Removes banners, popups, hot text links, and those autoplay ads. Even gets rid of ads before videos. If you ever want to go back to being bombarded by online ads, it can be disabled.
Would you rather pay each individual website the ability to use their website?
Because that's what it's going to turn into if you keep doing this ********
you can use filters to allow ads on certain sites
it's just really helpful for those sites that have like, 50 different buttons saying "download" and you don't feel like playing virussweeper
There is an option on Adblock Plus where you can block only highly obtrusive ads, and keep the ones that kind of just hang around in the edges and corners I think.
