I don't know **** all about making games, but make sure there's a point system for how gruesomely the baby dies. For instance: falling out a window is +50.

Crawling into a wood chipper, however, will be quite a bit more.

It's from full metal alchemist and one guy successfully combined his dog and kids into the being I posted above and it was a really feelsy part of the show because it said it wanted to die because of how much pain it was in and it whimpered like a dog with a broken leg and the main character had to put it down because the father wouldn't because he was proud of his accomplishment.

I have lots of experience with unity (~5 Years). This particular concept does have a long list of requirements to be considered "complete", but making the basic system up to the point where adding content is the main requirement would not take long to reach. Ill prob have a post monday or tuesday with something enjoyably playable

there's gonna be limitations to what it is, especially to someone who plays the game more than once, since they could very well figure out all scripted possible events that a baby can kill itself and plan accordingly. i mean people memorize the walking patterns and round times for every guard in payday games... more or less the same thing innit

it can still be a game..not one that you would pay 60 bucks for, but it could be a fun steam game. it can be fresh.there are many hazards in a house aside from developer made up ones, you dont know the strategy of the other player. you cant knock an idea when there are no mechanics/details yet.

yeah . . . you still can't program infinite ways for a baby to kill themselves, regardless of if it's multiplayer or not.
i'm not referring to the rails that ai follow when executing their commands, im just saying that regardless of how many different things you can switch up, the biggest limitation is that a baby in the game can only kill itself a number of different ways within reason. there's no replay value to the multiplayer game if you keep playing and figure out every possibility.
i dunno, maybe im doing the dumb. it's pretty late where i am and i had a long shift. sorry.

Randomized leveling? so different events per different maps that try their best to be different, i understand the limitations you are talking about though and i can see where you are coming from but the randomization may reduce the players ability to memorize maps and things like that

Sure, I get that there's some variation that you can put into it, but I still think that there's definitely very hard limitations still on that, because the levels need to be balenced still.
For a multiplayer game, the idea isn't that great. Replayability is the biggest concern here, and I don't think there's an easy answer.
Is Bioshock 2 art? Probably, but there's no way in hell that I'd play over 100 hours of the multiplayer.
Is CS:GO art? Probably not, but the subtle switches that they put into the gameplay makes it... interesting, even after you memorize things like grenade throws and rotation times.
