I build guitars and I am currently making one. I have been taking photos of the process so far and I thought maybe some people on here would be interested in seeing some pictures. Let me know if you are interested and I can put together some pictures of the process!

From this angle the action on that guitar looks absolutely ridiculous.

I'm just getting interested in guitar maintenance and manufacture, and considering starting to do small projects at home, but don't really have a clue on what I'm doing. anyone have any good websites/advice to share?? it would be very appreciated.

For supplies use Stewart Macdonald (stewmac website). They have tons of stuff for guitar building. Also there are plenty of youtube vids of people making their guitars. I would recommend starting with an electric as they are easier in most respects. If you have any questions i am glad to help!

Just make a vertical compilation in mspaint dude, you'll more than likely get frontpage.

I've learned alot of the process from my dad who's been one for as long as I can remember. He makes some incredible stuff. I've mostly used what I've learned for costume prop-making.

Being a Luthier sounds fun, but I don't have the control for the really thin cuts for the body. I'll stick with lopsided garages.

It is quite fun, Ive made mostly electric guitars, and patience and control is huge.... I probably could have been more careful with many of my earlier builds.
