So some background.

I'm 23, live on my own, have both a girlfriend and a boyfriend (Triangle relationship, we're all dating eachother).

As for my relationship with my mother. Well at about 9-10 my parents divorced after moving to the States from Scotland and both parents decided they wanted nothing to do with me, but loved my older brother and younger sister. Moving past that, I was given to my mother's custody, and she made a habit in my eighth grade and highschool years my mother regularly kicked me out of the house, but my sister had a good thing going and I didn't want to ruin it, so I bunked up in old sheds or barns(lived in the country).

This, of course, drove a rift between us, and my father was no help, they both saw the other in me and hated it. Anyway, her actions of course left me quite bitter for a time, and we butt heads over a great many things, but she always managed to keep some semblance of control over me.

Then I got out on my own at 20 and she got really pissed about it. Ever since then it's been smiling faces in front of the family, but constant drama when no one else is around. I've put up with it for a while, but am currently in the process of changing my name and dissociating myself from the family, namely my parents, because one is actively being a bitch, and the other, my father, isn't someone you'd want to share a last name with.

Finally, my mother is one of those borderline in a cult christians and thinks if I have long hair "I'll be a faggot who wants to dress and act like a girl with girl hair."

Ergo she doesn't want a fag in the family. I don't want to be in the family. I've told her I'm dating a guy and she thought I was just saying it to piss her off. So growing the hair it is.

At this point I'm working on swapping my phone providers, my boyfriend, girlfriend and I are about to all move in together and I won't be telling my family the address, and I'm getting my name changed already, so if she wants to kick me out of the family over me having long hair then she can be my guest, cos it just means I don't have to worry about her tracking me down later(hopefully).

Sounds Legionish, and I hear the soldiers mounted each other as much as they do women, so...

I'm sure you've already googled it but I just figured a quick search would help regardless.

On a side note, my girlfriend corroborates the point that frequent small trims appears so grow out her hair faster, so I guess there is some merit there. Anyway gg and good luck.

I used to drink and eat a lot of dairy products. Also , tea makes up for a lot of anti toxins. Give it a go.
