NOPE, I DENY YOUR CLAIM ON JOKER

Joker was trying to show that everyone, down on the inside, was like him. He says he's an agent of chaos but has actually meticulously planned out each and every move.

He might have been insane, but he was logically insane, damn it

Agent Smith was wholly liberated from the original job he was programmed to do (keep humanity in check) by the time he'd been able to multiply himself as a virus. When Neo destroyed him, he refused to return to the source and be deleted, and instead manifested as a rampant being who had become a threat to Neo, who had deprived him of purpose, and the Deus Ex Machina, who had damned him to the Matrix in the first place.

"Do I really look like a guy with a plan?"

You planned out everything with a great deal of precision ahead of time, so kinda, yeah.

I was going to call you out on the ******** in this post about The Joker, but there's like a bunch of dudes in the comments who beat me to it. Aw what the hell I'll do it anyway.

The Joker in this movie (The Dark Knight) wanted to prove that everyone was just like him on the inside and given a big enough push, would snap. "Madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push". This ideology that Joker isn't only in Nolan's movie, read the Killing Joke, my favorite comic book and really goes in depth on the subject and more. The Dark Knight - "Madness is Like Gravity..."

Mr. Smith was freed of his job and only became the villain to destroy neo later.

Pretty much the same thing i said the other two times this was posted.

Could someone please educate me on Kahn? As far as I could see he, all he wanted was his crew back. I mean yeha he was ruthless to make it happen but what does he do with his crew? Rape puppies or something?

i'm not sure if i'm right on this, but Kahn wanted to kill all species he felt were inferior. Pretty much genocide. Space Hitler.

since I was little I always stood with the villains. Maybe because I understand what is to be the best and to be rejected anyways.

"So... I see you received the free ticket I sent you. I'm glad. I did so want you to be here. You see it doesn't matter if you catch me and send me back to the asylum... Gordon's been driven mad. I've proved my point. I've demonstrated there's no difference between me and everyone else! All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day. You had a bad day once, am I right? I know I am. I can tell. You had a bad day and everything changed. Why else would you dress up as a flying rat? You had a bad day, and it drove you as crazy as everybody else... Only you won't admit it! You have to keep pretending that life makes sense, that there's some point to all this struggling! God you make me want to puke. I mean, what is it with you? What made you what you are? Girlfriend killed by the mob, maybe? Brother carved up by some mugger? Something like that, I bet. Something like that... Something like that happened to me, you know. I... I'm not exactly sure what it was. Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice! Ha ha ha! But my point is... My point is, I went crazy. When I saw what a black, awful joke the world was, I went crazy as a coot! I admit it! Why can't you? I mean, you're not unintelligent! You must see the reality of the situation. Do you know how many times we've come close to world war three over a flock of geese on a computer screen? Do you know what triggered the last world war? An argument over how many telegraph poles Germany owed its war debt creditors! Telegraph poles! Ha ha ha ha HA! It's all a joke! Everything anybody ever valued or struggled for... it's all a monstrous, demented gag! So why can't you see the funny side? Why aren't you laughing?" -Joker

The Joker is trying to tell us that it is all just one big cruel joke. Everything is pointless, and nothing matters.

He did have a reason though, even the Dark Knight version. It was even stated in the movie. He wanted to prove that people in the world were just like him.
