hem a wheel chair.( no big deal) A few times while we were going
between shops I pushed her around while making car sounds. I hit

Im currently dating a blind girl, and on our first date we went to a coffee shop on a really hot day and then ended up walking to the ice cream shop. when we got there i asked "what would you like?" to which she said "hold on let me read the menu." and we stood there in silence for like 5 minutes and she finally said, "you didnt catch that did you?" i was already kinda nervous and i felt like a dumbass but **** was cash.

Mine actually was like that. She was raised in the blind world and now that she's going to college resents that fact.
Malinko's gf was raised in a normal environment so she got taught the value's of outside appearances.

I take mine shopping ever so often and she's learning how to do makeup/do her hair etc on her own It took me getting straight out rude in her face to realize I wasn't ************ with her needing to learn these things though.

But myah, being forced to adopt values that you cannot observe/sense yourself must seem really weird (the girl in the video went blind when she was 17, so she already had the value of appearance brainwashed/ingrained into her)

actually she doesnt put it on. I do. before her sister put it on for her. and i know nothing about make up so i just do it how her sister did it.

Okayh, kind of explains it then.

I thought you'd come with a kind of "she feels the makeup on her skin" explanation.

Makes me realize how screwed I'd be without my eyesight (right now it's way above 'average' according to my doctor)... all my other senses are rather numbed down aka. smelling/tasting due to issues with my nose 'n my hearing's not good either - probably mostly 'cause I got too many languages jumbled up there in that tiny confused brain of mine

Things are going great and its be like 2 years now. I feel like shes the one I want to spend my life with, I hope she feels the same.

Actually katawa shoujo is kinda what made me start talking to her. had classes at college with her, and not many people talked to her for probably the same reason i didnt. but after KS i realised how much of a scum bag i was being and started talking to her. we were friends long before we dated because I had a girlfriend. and then when me and my ex broke up she actually was the one that confessed to me. lol

to be honest, its not a lot different than dating any other girl. we talk and hang out and watch tv (she just listens of course) and go to movies and what not. it was a bit of a shock when I started having her come over my house, I had to lead her around and explain what was what and where everything was. and I had to make sure all the path ways she knew were clear so she wouldnt trip.
a couple months after we started dating she would spend every other weekend at my house because it would help her mother out having to drive her because of work (she lived in a different town) and she tripped and fell into my $500 battle ship model in my office that took me a year and a half to build. she felt so bad about it and was actually affriad i was going to dump her for it (she only ever had one bf besides me and she fell and broke his parents tv and he broke up with her. douche)
to be honest the other thing thats kinda different is sex. its a lot more touching for obvious reasons. but idk, it also feels a lot more emotional with her.

Dude I've been reading your stories that you posted on the KS boards sorry if that sounds creepy since it's all of a sudden and I just started talking to you but you have made me smile like a dumbass at how cute you guys are. I get this warm fuzzy feeling. I think I'll take your word on it and go with Lilly's scene in KS for what sex is like As much as I don't want to make it sound like I'm trying to live out my own little fantasy I think I'd prefer to date a blind girl solely due to the fact that the bond is formed based on trust and emotion and personality. Not just on looks and other stuff.

nah its not creepy since i kinda said they were there a comment ago or so.

yeah for the most part its kinda like that. but of course its not always rainbows. we're had fights and stuff, and we kinda broke up for a wlittle while and then got back together (on christmas eve actually). shes got a lot of emotional issues that are related to her family and somewhat to do with her blindness, that had caused some issues in the past. she doesnt like feeling useless and im the type that likes to do. so thats led to a few scwabbles. for example Im a pretty good cook, and she doesnt know how to cook at all. and i cooked all of the meals and did all the house work and stuff, and shes always wanted to learn but her mother never let her help because she was affraid she'd hurt herself. so instead of directly telling me this, she made it into i was treating her like a child. I finally got the exact reason out of her of course, and taught her how to cook and labeled everything in my kitchen in braille. i also got her her own knives because mine are like super sharp japanese Miyabi knives, and she cuts herself shes taking a finger lol.
but even though theres all that, she does this thing where she nuzzles her check next time mine and whenever we do that we both know everything is okay that sounded cheesy as **** lol
