Somebody posted something about a US soldier and "good ole US soil" and I thought I'd poke the flag-waving pride-beast in the testicles a bit and I almost got my head bit off. Even thought I am a born-and-raised US citizen!
spoilers spoil all the fun this is FUNNY JUNK DOT ******* COM - everything here is a joke life isn't worth living if you take it too seriously but seriously - all US-Americans are national sociaists even if I said "this is a joke", would it be a joke? who determines what is a joke and what is not? can a joke be not funny?
This is a spoiler
Because you made a stupid comparison, and now made an entire content bitching about how people didn't appreciate your 'joke' so you say you were just trolling.
where did I say I was "just trolling"? I am trying to present a comparison (albeit rather stark and exaggerated) intended to cast light on the shadows that are über-patriotism. It's "OK" to love America and post pictures of US soldiers holding bunnies and no soldier can ever do wrong and the USA is the only truly free nation in the world, but as soon as I make a small comparison to Nazi Germany as far as "patriotism" is concerned, I get shut down because "hey man, this is 'murica - we either mindlessly love our country or we are unpatriotic". Just think about the dangers of loving something too much - if it becomes "holy" or "sacred" to be a US citizen, then it is elitist and can breed classism and can be dangerous.
But again, this is a ******* joke website - it's just a joke!!!! If I can't make a joke about how much Americans love America or how much ******* love watermelon or how much weeabos love neckbeards then what kind of Nazi-website is this?
'It was just a joke' yeah, that's not a joke man. Jokes are supposed to be funny. You compared a picture of American flags flying to being equivalent to Nazi Germany. You got red thumbed because comparing the two is a ****** comparison: Even if the U.S. were to become a malevolent force and try to take over the world, it wouldn't be a Nazi Germany clone, it would be its own entity.
If you had actually wanted to make a joke, you should have photoshopped Obama to look like Hitler, as that's closer to an apt comparison, and could actually possibly be considered funny.
But no, you post your little political standpoint, and get red thumbs (which is another thing, you got red thumbed, not banned. Somehow that applies to freedom of speech?) for it because it was either A) a very badly structured joke with no context, setup, or punchline just randomly thrown out there (which I very much doubt), or B) You think the U.S. is a big bad guy, and posted a picture comparing them to Nazi Germany with the only relations being some flags on display, which then gets redthumbed for being an unpopular opinion, and you get so butthurt that you create your own content just to bitch about your comment that got a little over 100 red thumbs, and then take it all back and say 'it was a joke, why can't you take a little joke?' in a very sad attempt to take some of the pressure off yourself.
Grow some ******* balls man. You can't live life bitching and moaning because you get flack for spouting off an insulting opinion. Either don't ******* state your opinion at all, or be prepared to stand by what you said even as people get angry. Don't turn around and imply that what you said was a joke. That's what pisses me off the most about you. Not that you hate America, I couldn't care less, there's probably billions of people who hate the U.S. But to be that much of a ******* beta that you can't even stand by your own words.
And we wish you'd realize that the USA is colloquially know as America. If you go just about anywhere in the world besides South America and Mexico, and you tell someone that you're an American, that person will likely immediately think you mean a U.S. citizen. (Perhaps I'm wrong on this, but I have yet to have a European or Asian ask me from which country I'm from in America).
Oh I gotta ask this , whose occupation time did your people like better?
Polish , German or Soviet?
And no I'm not mocking you , I really want to know, because from what I gathered everyone loves German occupation, greeks in fact loved it so much they indentify themselves with it to this very day.
Polish had occupied the region of Vilnius for about 18 years so some Lithuanians don't really like the Polish that much. Surprisingly due to a treaty with the USSR, we got back the capital with their help but eventually they occupied us and we didn't try to resist this is literally one of the most embarrassing and shameful moments in our history .
The Russians very extremely oppressive and exiled over a few hundred thousand people to work camps in Siberia who showed defiance in any way.
Almost everything was censored and on January 13, 1991 when they tried to take over the TV it resulted in one of the bloodiest nights for our country in recent history. It's not that I do not like the Russian people, I do not like their government and it's decisions
Lithuanians greeted the Germans like saviors from that will save the from the USSR occupation. They kinda went along their "Destroy the Jews, spread propaganda" thing. Even so they sent most of our great minds to concentration camps, that was due to the fact they were against the occupation. Lithuanians did not like the nazis and helped in hiding and saving the Jewish people.
TL;DR If were talking full occupation, then yes Germans were horrible but not as bad as Russians in my opinion .
If were talking about partial occupation then the Polish since they only occupied the Vilnius region
i love it even more when literally every country thinks they're **** , until some other country insults them, at which point they're the best country in the world.
I reckon the U.S are the best at SOME things , because they're European , but their ****** anti-european attitude they got from the britbongs is the reason I don't like the vast majority of them , at least in the places I go to oh and that applies to britbongs as well
america and bongland are the two halves of the perfect nation, only able to stand together when the pressures of war force them together to save the world from germany
As an American, I can confirm that I find my Geoffreys rumbled every time OP reminds me that I am not alone nor the best in the world. It works every time!
I am also fat.
I will thumb you down because I am from America.
Have a nice day! Be careful around minorities!
Just because your post got red thumbs doesn't mean you didnt have freedom of speech... not having freedom of speech is your post never being seen or thumbed at all.
Freedom of speech is the right to say out loud what you think without having to be afraid of prosecution and punishment.
But yeat, a post that nobody has seen or isn't thumbed is pretty bad aswell.
how to piss off a typical *American
Insulting anyone's heritage is bound to be received negatively by that person, obviously. Looking at some of these other comments, it seems like you've already tasted some murrica freedums
a) I (OP) am US-American (born and raised in Kennebunkport, Maine)
b) if you think Europeans spend as much time on the interwebs per capita as US-American, you're dead wrong
