Over in my province we had massive fires that caused a whole city to evacuate to shelters, and the heat/dry environment just helped it spread. Apparently a couple of them were started by people, yet we still had people whining because "wah, the government won't let me make a bonfire out in the woods", even when there's good ******* reason.

yunoavailable (11/19/2015) [-] Honestly, I don't think they were in much risk for several reasons. The grass is still to wet to really spread the fire and especially now that the leaves are spread out a bit they aren't going to burn for long. Without a decent amount of wind they are pretty unlikely to actually catch anything except maybe whatever building is at the end of the row cause it's hard to tell how far away it is from the leaves. pouring gasoline on leaves is stupid but honestly this isn't that much more dangerous than burning leaves in general as far as I can tell.

regional dialect... We are a whole province and its called French while most of the people are bilingual French is still predominant.you really have to go loose yourself if the woods to find only French speaker
Quebec is literally the most open province off all the rest of canada.We have a week long gay pride every summer and a whole area in the center of Montreal for gay people and summer activities in general
