Good luck when you're out of fireball and haven't done a tenth of someone's healthbar.
Parrying 4 lyfe
Unless someone's being an asshole, thinking they're clever with ranged attacks.
Then you one-shot them with a hex.
This guys usually right, but I hate his attitude, hes got such a superiority complex it hurts. Not to mention his level on pretentiousness is on a godlike level.
it's uncomfortable to me how youtubers come off vs the content they make
off the top of my head i can think of these
Skall (his content makes sense, and he seems knowledgeable enough, but he sounds like an ass sometimes)
Angry Joe (he and i seem to value the same things in gaming, so i trust his reviews, but he has 0 diplomacy skills and handles controversies like a little whiny bitch)
Projared (his videos are downright hilarious but when out of his persona he seems like a self-centered douchebag also he's been hating on kingdom hearts in favor of the FF7 remake, which while awesome shouldnt halt development of something actually new, so i admit to having personal bias against him
and Pewdiepie (i hate his content so much, but he seems like a nice guy).
I love it when people complain about all the flashy spinning and **** Gerault does, when Witchers can afford to look cool because no non-witcher swordsman could ever hope to beat them. Ever.
I believe the canon explanation is that witchers are pretty much superhuman, move extremely quickly and the twirling is so their extreme speed can help create enough momentum for the sword to be able to actually cut through the hide of a magic creature. Geralt is actually moving in slow motion during fights. As in, we, as the player, see him twirling around and being fancy, but to other people he's a ******* whirlwind and they can't really react in time to deal with his twirly nonsense.
Except Spinning the sword is a defensive maneuver to easily block and counter your opponent's moves.
Hell, I bet you think Star Wars lightsaber Choreography was made up on the spot don't you.
Breh... That choreography is not made for normal people. Star Wars is a movie and it IS made to be flashy, AND they are bloody Jedi. No real-life swordsman will ever teach you to spin your sword like that. It will only get your ass stabbed. You have zero leverage when doing it, and if timed right by your opponent, you will have your sword beaten right out of your hand, and possibly ******* up your wrist.
The only weapon I can think of where spinning could even be a thing it would be with a two-handed pole.
It seemed like such a good(and somewhat entertaining) idea at the time, text color is hex code matched to the comment box when your cursor is over gif, my profile pic/gif is hex code matched to the comment box when your cursor is not over it. The novelty honestly has worn off a bit.
