HOW TO DISABLE THE ANNOYING ALERTS

So a change was made on FJ recently that sets the option to receive alerts each time someone you are friends with posts content as enabled by default
­
I have around 5500 FJ friends so I know some of you will be irritated to be spammed with "Your friend joshlol uploaded x content" each time I post something
­
Here's how to disable it:
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Go to the 'Alerts Settings' tab
-Uncheck the box that says 'Receive alerts when friend added new content'
