Sorry, buying healthcare for 200 a month is cheaper than paying 50% taxes. Government run healthcare is inefficient and will never beat the private market. That's a lame argument. I pay a 28% of my salary in taxes. The 50% is only for the richest people who make around 400k a year.

And you imply that ALL this taxes are used for healthcare, which are not. The social welfare, pension funds and FREE education are paid from this taxes.

The only reason our healthcare is so low in those rankings is because cost is included. As to the actual quality of our healthcare, it is the best in the world.

This means that your get the whole money of a country and you divide it among the number of people. So if you have a country composed by Bill Gates and 5 ******* of harlem, the GDP would be really high and the 5 ******* still poor as rats, so it sucks as a way to measure the average income.

However, there is another thing called the Gini coefficient., which measures HOW the GDP money is distributed. USA traditionally has one of the worst gini's, making the gap between rich and poor huge. So yes, big GDP but lower salaries in general. However, canada, has a somehow lower gini coefficient, implying that even if the GDP is lower, it is WAY better distributed, with a much higher average salary.

Less filthy rich people, on the other hand. But Justin Biever. So let's destroy canada.
