What 'spinny thingy' are you referring to? If it's the bullet, it spins because grooves in the barrel (called rifling) cause it to spin, to gain distance, stability, and accuracy.

The blue gif with the red circle isn't a nothing... Its a demonstration of a theory for a static wave generator. The pale red circle is the static pipe/mount, the blue is the water, and the red is the "propeller". From memory it was suggested for mid ocean energy collection, the idea being you could weight the mount to the correct height for the waves using controllable ballast tanks. I'll have a dig and see if I can find it...

Pythagoras one doesn't count as a proof for the theorem, just a proof for a special case. It's impossible to prove Pythagoras practically, as there's an infinitely large amount of ratios the sides can have to each other. It can only be proven generally in a theoretical way.

Yeah, the only way to prove theorems is with a ton of math, but for demonstrating how it works to kids this is a great method.
