Having a perfectly acceptable connection that has a tendency to disrupt for a second or two randomly throughout the day, which ruins a lot of games I play. And it's only because I moved... was fine at my old place.

I have quite a good connection, but it does this "thing" where it will suddenly cut out, and the only way to get it to work again is to reset the router and modem a couple of times, or manually disconnect and reconnect via the thing on my taskbar about couple dozen times. It was so bad once that by the time it was working again I had restarted my router and modem about 20-30 times and manually disconnected and reconnected about 70-100. I lost count due to seething white hot rage.

I had that with my old router, new one rarely requires a restart... which is good if it didn't terminate service all the time for like a second.

Not sure if you play League or not, but I can't even use the Team builder in that game due to how it works client wise (needs to constantly stay connected throughout a whole process of building a team)... god damn internet connection. I would always leave officially, but be able to talk to my teammates as a ninja ghost. It's a fun bug, but an annoying one.

Fair enough friend, just saying I can't play games with long setups (like a lobby, you know?) without complications. Of course it's only an issue when playing with friends, instant queues don't give me issues.

Run in compatibility mode, or dual boot. Windows 8 is a great platform, it just has the worst design and interface ever. The core of windows 8 is a lot more stable than Windows 7, it's just dumbed down. Don't bandwagon, you can customize your W8 if you actually give a ****.

30 FPS is really good, the point of the picture is that people with behemoth PC's are running games at like 60+

well, i can run BF4 with around 65-80 fps, thats silky smooth, and it does not cost much, if you go on youtube and find linus tech tips, you can see a few low cost, but kickass builds.

400w would do it but you always want some wiggle room, I say go 500w or 550w
