I yell about this every chance I get because jealousy =! envy and without precision of definitions, confusion may arise, and in confusion, superdeath. Not even regular death. SUPERdeath.

I need someone to post immediately after me with the logical fallacy, something about ' one thing leads to another ' but the ' another ' is something incredulously disproportionate.

So like.. ' oh what, we're going to ride horses with saddles now? Pretty soon we'll be training dragons and flying around in the sky ' or something close to that.

It's called the 'slippery slope' fallacy.

Yeah, that's the...

... wait, is your name ' goodhomer '? ... I don't even care which Homer you mean; that's amusing.

Anyway, yeah, that's the fallacy. Thank you. Trying to memorize all of them so that I know when I'm thinking straight and when I'm just making ******** up.

Not going to lie. I ******** often. But mostly in transparent ways, as displayed thus.

>>#4,

okay i can't believe i'm doing this.
jealousy usually refers to a three party action. you, the jealous party, the person you are jealous of, and the person you are worried about losing. so for the common case of true jealousy, since the guy can't steal your hand away from you you wouldn't be jealous. however, in a ****** up way, you could be jealous if he might not allow you to pleasure yourself anymore. then he is not technically stealing your hand away from you, but you fear the possibility of him essentially making it useless to you for that purpose, causing jealousy for him to be using your hand, knowing you might not be able to anymore. that would only be the case if your hand-jobs were so good that he didn't want anyone but himself, including you, to have them.
or, you're just envious that he is getting a hand-job and you aren't, since envy is wanting something he has that you don't and at that time you don't have a hand-job

But it's definitely not gay, right?

jealous
adjective
feeling or showing an envious resentment of someone or their achievements, possessions, or perceived advantages.

feeling or showing a resentful suspicion that one's partner is attracted to or involved with someone else.

fiercely protective of one's rights or possessions.

Still doesn't excuse people for being overly-protective, insecure douche-bags.

if your neighbor has a nice new sports car, that's envy.
if he takes your wife joyriding in it, that's jealousy.
And they said being an English major would never pay off
