This actually happened to me this year. I started shopping in like October and got spot on gifts for my family and roommates and even hand drew a portrait for my parents of us kids. I come home to christmas and dad is like "yeah we aren't doing presents this year. We're just gonna cook like a big family dinner and then watch movies."
Which is fine, I guess... I mean I really enjoy making people happy and seeing their smiles, and my mom cried when she saw the portrait... I just kinda thought someone would of wanted to make me smile this year, because it's been a really hard one for me. I literally got dumped a week before Christmas after finding out my bf was in love with someone else the whole time and he never meant it when he said he loved me... and my family didn't even have the breakfast buffet together. My Lil bro is playing league, my older brother is out boning his crazy clingy gf, and my dad is working security and mom is sleeping off her bottle of wine... merry Christmas guys...
