I would like to see one with cultural religions. Like Norse Paganism is currently back on the rise. (I myself am one)

I don't get the down votes. My family can date their history back to 1398; we're former Norman nobles. The religion is part of my family and of the World around me. I simply wanted to know some stats as Norse Paganism is no longer being openly persecuted.

Its probably not that big anymore because of the sacrifice of animals, large parts of your income and the fact that the only way to go to heaven is to die in battle. While the mythology is cool, and i have read pretty much all of it i am very interested in stuff like this, its just not a practical religion to practise anymore. Also, for any of your worship of the gods to be related to what they can support you with, you would have to live in the forest, living of the land and growing your own crops to survive. But hey, believing that the end of times will come when a ship made of dead peoples nails sails from hel to midgard, containing the army of undead under lokis command doesnt sound too much crazier than one guy and his family building a giant boat and housing all the animals on earth in it for a year

No offense, but the return of Paganism is associated by college kids who were bored as **** and decided to form Wicca. Sure it was not born in such a way, but like 80% of pagans are just atheist students at college. Kinda like the Satanist movement at Harvard. They really don't give a **** .

Not quite man... It started coming back in the late 1800s on a larger scale thanks to spiritualism taking off in the west and east and provoking individuals to probe even deeper into occult ideas... This coinciding with concepts of deism and other philosophies. When some of these folks found groups like the Rosicrucians and even sects of paganism that had been passing down their stuff since before Christ, they ran with it. Early 20th century you get the O.T.O and guys like Crowley, and soon occultism is back in the running.. In the 80s it had a bit of a renaissance thanks to liberation thought in the west and the spread of republished literature/discovery of various ancient middle eastern and far eastern texts, tablets, and mysticism. The real serious students of this stuff are pretty scholarly but usually a lot more approachable than most normal religious practitioners about their beliefs, including wiccans and gods dammed cheap ass backwards 8th grade Satanists. If you meet a pagan who actually knows his **** and isn't just looking for attention, be prepared to get into a long chat about relativity theory and philosophy. The frauds are the ones going around saying they're gonna curse you if you tell johnny they like him.
Sorry for rant. Clarification was required.
Tld;Dr: fake pagans are annoying as **** just like anyone who labels them self without understanding a damn thing, but real ones are a lot less crazy than the whole polytheism thing may sound.
>PIC probably related

For like one real pagan, there are like 20 fake ones. Even though the fake ones are actually more identifiable. It really turned it into a ****** fad due to the posers.

When I see a poser I usually call them out on it. Or at least help them to get that even if they think they know **** they didn't actually know **** and should study **** before they talk **** . Posers are **** . **** /
