My mom decides to take me, my dog, our neighbor and his dog hiking.
Put my medium sized dog in a carrier since she wasn't housebroken yet, and put the carrier in the back seat.
Put neighbor's large dog in "trunk" of the hatchback.
Mom is driving up the base of the mountain, dirt road, bumpy with sharp turns.
She's a speed demon, scaring me and neighbor with her ******* .
Suddenly smell something horrendous
 I check neighbor's dog, he's cool.
I check my dog, she's pooped in her carrier despite it being a small, inescapable space.

I'd would also be scared if the driver was focusing on taking a picture of me, instead of looking at the road.

Took me a second to realize that those legs belong to two different people. I'll be honest, I freaked out a little.

Actually, I am very flexible and wear different pant legs and shoes on each foot.

Why did you specify "female friend", and then proceed to use the "she" pronoun. The word female is unnecessary and you should feel bad for your use of repetition.

My "Female" friend. Why.

because some people find funny the cliché of women being terrible drivers. I still do.

Well, it's true for the most part. I <had> a friend (she told me not to talk to her any more because she had this asshole boyfriend that basically didn't want her talking to any guys) that claimed she was a great driver, but it was scary riding with her, thought I was gunna die every time. On the other side of the argument, my mom is, like, the queen of driving. She drives really well and her standards for driving are even higher (which is why I never drive with her in the car).

Because women can't ******* drive
User avatar #8 - cowisbeast (04/26/2014) [-]
was there any point in putting 'female friend' instead of just friend
User avatar #11 to #8 - finblob ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
A common stereotype is that women are worse at driving than men.
User avatar #14 to #11 - cowisbeast (04/26/2014) [-]
we would of gathered the gender from 'she'
User avatar #20 to #14 - finblob ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I know but it's to exaggerate on the stereotype.
If he just put "she" it would just go unnoticed that he was trying to point out it was a girl, the "female friend" is sort of a push towards the "she can't drive" thing.

She might be a great drivers, so she has confidence in her abilities and takes risks she knows she can take.

It doesn't mean that she's a safe driver though.
User avatar #6 to #1 - myaccountisnew (04/26/2014) [-]
I think the mark of a good driver is not taking any risks at all. Emergency situations non withstanding, there is never a need to go over the speed limit or run a red light or something, getting where you're going 30 seconds sooner isn't worth any risk at all.
#21 to #6 - adr (04/26/2014) [-]
But it is so much fun. And a lot of girls dig it.
