I'm not sure which way it goes: do 20something-yearolds influence teens, are the new 20somethings just a new batch of ex-teens with their new styles, or are they all influenced together simultaneously? I'm secretly glad, I'd rather have to deal with hipsters than scene kids. They at least look normal. But back to the college kids vs teens: in my 4 years of college, I never once saw a scene "kid." Tons of bros, hipsters, punks/metalheads, but no scene kids. Did they just settle down into another style? If they went to anything besides punk/metal, then they were the true-est of posers.
