Hey, Vegans...

I just want to say something quickly before I get tons of red thumbs by actual Vegans. I have nothing wrong with your lifestyle, do what makes you happy. I just post things like this because I am the only meat-eater in a house of all-natural, organic vegans (six of them), and they hassel me about it all the time. Vegans hassel Meat-eaters, Meat-eaters pick on Vegans. It's just the circle of life, and you have to be able to laugh at it, so try not to take things like this too seriously.

Being a vegan for health reasons rather than moral, I see no problems with anti-venom. Especially given the fact you don't have to kill the snakes. Some Veganazis (is that a thing? I dunno) are really extremeist. I just avoid meat because I feel a lot better when I stick to my fresh fruits and veggies. Not to mention the masive amount of heart disease that runs in my family.

No judgement for carnivores though. Bacon is ******* delicious.

I think you have good reasons to be a vegan, after all, if heart diseases runs in your familly, it's a matter of prudence, you're taking minimum risks, and thus you deserve to live, because i know some people that are likely to suffer from heart problems but won't stop eating fat bacon.
Even tough i'm not a vegan, i totally admit that you have really good reasons.

I guess in all fairness, I'm a vegetarian as opposed to vegan. Vegan is more of a lifestyle associated with shaming people for their crimes against nature and throwing red pain on fur coats. Where as vegetarian is more along the lines of "Nah man, I'll just stick to this salad."

I know, i know, I'll tell you one thing: I'm a firemen, and sometimes we are called over peoples' houses for "unknown reasons", most of the times because people don't answer the phone, don't show up for a while, or they relatives just call because they collapsed and they don't know why; well i can assure you that when we arrive, we check the fridge and food supplies, yes, we do, because if the guy is full of fruits in a cup and salad and veggies in the fridge, we can reasonably think that it's not an heart problem (and it works around 95% of the time)
I won't ******** you tough, that's how my team and me do it, it's not an "official" firemen manoeuvre.

I've been pretty in tune with my body since I was 14, given the fact I have diabetes. So the whole vegetarian deal just helps me manage it that much more.

Thank you for getting it. My housemates really just give me a hard time about it. I am really hoping they'll see this. They are die-hard extremist Vegans. Why they let me rent a room in the house is beyond me, but other than the whole me being a 'carnivorous heathen', as they so eloquently put it, we get along pretty great. And I never pick on them about their diets.

It's like people who argue religion. I don't care what you do, just don't force it upon me.

There's no point on trying to force a lifestlye on someone. Whether it be religious or diet.

Exactly. But some people... They just don't get it.
