And all in 14 minutes, amazing.
User avatar #20 to #4 - bombadealar (09/09/2015) [-]
I love his videos and then I read he took 102 days for this one alone
User avatar #23 to #20 - newtamalego (09/09/2015) [-]
don't be silly

you just watched him do it in fourteen minutes
User avatar #61 to #20 - Sevenseas (09/10/2015) [-]
That's depressing. 3 month god damn, I'm sure though if you had help you could do it much sooner.
User avatar #63 to #61 - blademontane (09/10/2015) [-]
Well 36 days were wasted as he had to wait for a bad weather system to pass.
User avatar #64 to #63 - Sevenseas (09/10/2015) [-]
Still 2 months and a bit is quite a bit of time for that structure, I would have thought maybe a month tops, how long does this last has anyone done it yet?

His creativity satisfies me

This guy can make a house, with a functioning kiln to produce roof tiles, whereas I contemplated pissing myself last night because I couldn't be bothered to go to the bathroom.

He builds a greater civilization than most of africa....
User avatar #50 to #5 - datblkkid (09/10/2015) [-]
Funny thing is that in some places in Africa, like Rwanda, they have both modernized civilizations as well as houses like the one this guy made.
Only difference, at least for my grandmother's house I stayed at, they had a bathroom(outside but still), washroom/water storage, three bedrooms and a separate house for cooking.
Then again, she did have one of my cousins living there at the time so...there's that.

He doesn't have to worry about food and disease and drinking water and what not

also very different climates with very different resources and weather

its pretty different but he is certainly an expert.

once you have the know-how, its not that hard anymore

well its hard work, but you know what i´m saying

That's that white privilege everybody's talking about
#41 to #30 - anon (09/10/2015) [-]
If being able to create build something great is unique to whites, then all I can say is: my god does it feel good to be white.

I'd really love to try some of these things... but well I live in a certain middle europeen country...
unauthorised fire in the woods? - go to jail
choping down a tree on a property you don't own? - go to jail
building something on the property of someone else? - have it torn down and probably go to jail
building anything without the OK of an architect? - have it torn down and go to jail

Well you may say "A fire in the woods? there are no damn cops!" well the largest wood around here is so small that if I just walk through it from far end to far end it doesn't take me 15 min.

and there are allways nosey people around that will get in your **** ...

User avatar #29 to #9 - adrilazzaro (09/10/2015) [-]
Well quite honestly it's not like it's much different in America, you have to own the land or the owner will either a)shoot you b) call cops to shoot you for him

Well then why dont you chase them away with a gu- OH WAIT
User avatar #28 - blunted (09/10/2015) [-]
Being a guy that only uses tools that grow from the ground I can naturally assume this was filmed with a potato?
#10 - anon (09/09/2015) [-]
that is how modern tiles sit today as well, few of then have nails trhu but not all
User avatar #47 - tsoper (09/10/2015) [-]
This got me thinking about how easy it is for us to build homes and towers with the help of machinery.. then starting from scratch again and building something so simple looks hard and time consuming as ****

10/10 would watch a movie based off this guy getting lost in the wilderness in a plane crash and striving to survive by using his resources to build shelter and basically try and not die
#14 - morebuckets (09/09/2015) [-]
>minecraft weebs

those two things have very little to do with each other
#32 to #14 - anon (09/10/2015) [-]
Found the minecraft weeb

The only thing i wonder about is what this guy does for a living. What does he do that he has so much free time to play in the woods? I cant go 2 weeks without a paycheck before my life goes to **** .

Is this a new ARK update?
User avatar #35 - wakster (09/10/2015) [-]
Anybody have the video of this guy building a house/dwelling with a clay stove or something along those lines?
User avatar #26 - CrankyKong ONLINE (09/10/2015) [-]
Seeing this video makes me want to do stuff like him, but I know I would just end up sobbing quietly in the corner while being drained by mosquitoes and ticks.
User avatar #6 - fantazayamaya (09/09/2015) [-]
I actually enjoy watching these videos. He uses such little resources and can still make it livable. btw the slappy sounds when hes molding the mud/clay amuses me..

Primitive technology? Africans are still lower developed than that.
