Its mah first post and i didnt put the "punchline" in the title like youtube did. All those years of lurking in the comments are paying off. Praise me.
its a 1/50 prediction chance, of which card do i set up before i show him. and its easier to know what the person will predict when you get to know them. its also smart to put the nicest looking fruit in front of the others to
wait a minute someone else explained what i was gonna
dont believe everything they show in TV..also these kinds of tricks would not work at me..by me..sadly no one of these metalism hoax'ers dares to proof me wrong..
David arranged to hang out with Harrison. When he arrived at the house he took note of something he could cut into somewhere in the house. The best choice is a piece of fruit. David then had some of his crew go buy several pieces of fruit so that he could place a card in each one so that Harrison would have the choice of which piece of fruit to choose from, but the outcome would still be guaranteed. That's how the card got in there.
Now is getting him to choose the card placed in there: basically mentalism. So before this scene was shot, David and Harrison were probably hanging out for a while. Maybe they went to dinner or went swimming in Harrison's pool (assuming he has one because he's rich). While they were hanging out, David would continuously make references to the number 9 and a heart or love, something like that. Examples: "My niece made a beautiful sculpture of a heart," "Nine years ago I did...," "When doing the [insert stunt here] my heart was racing the whole time," and so on. He was implanting that card in his heard.
Maybe it's not how he did it, but that's the way I probably would have, but I'm not expert magician. I'm not a magician at all. And all that is assuming Harrison is not in on it. Maybe I'm just thinking about it too hard, but from watching a lot of Derren Brown and Penn & Teller, this is how I would do it.
From what I understand, mentalism is largely a load of **** . More likely, it's just simple slight of hand and slipping the card in as he's cutting it. I'm also not entirely sure we see the trick from start to finish though, so I can't be certain at all.
The pure amazement on his face is just... just wonderful.
I'm really liking how FJ keeps putting up stuff that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. First there was the video of a dad and his daughter catching a fish, then the guy shouting pure rage at his computer for constantly updating, there was that one where the guy made a game for his wife just earlier today and now this.
Please keep going this kind of stuff guys, it's wonderful to see.
I figured out how the trick works
First you will need a ton of oranges
Put a card in every orange
Now, you only need to learn how to read minds and turn things invisible and you are good to go
He's seen the ark of the the covenant being opened, a man's heart being pulled from his chest while being still alive, and the Holy grail, and space aliens...But this is the **** that blows his mind?
