You're probably on an American based site to begin with.

@the one about playing assassin's creed 3:

Fighting American soldiers didn't stop me from siding with the Germans to use the sweet-as-fuck Kar 98 in call of duty 3.

Also, I've seen many websites use several different flags to indicate the English language, including both the Canadian flag and the union jack. I actually quite seldom see the U.S. flag for language selection.

Can anyone explain the 'cheese on toast' for breakfast?
Like, is it really what it sounds like? Or is it like buttered toast

The only complaint I actually sympathize with is the one about saying excuse me.

I get why British people might feel that way about the flag on internet sites but:
having the English language option represented by a U.S. Flag sort of makes sense, if you think about how many English speaking Americans (roughly 27.000.000) there are compared to Brits(roughly 60.000.000) , just sayin'
(Also there are more English speakers in India, Pakistan and Nigeria than in Britain, albeit most are not native speakers.)
inb4 "fuckin americunt with superiority complex" I'm not American.
User avatar #68 to #61 - BraindeadBuddha ONLINE (05/05/2014) [-]
Not 27.000.000 Americans of course, 270.000.000 forgot a zero

You wouldn't search for England, simply because England is part of the UK. I'm pretty sure on the majority of drop boxes on websites around the world, the more appropriate and known term is United Kingdom.
