Happiness

Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.[1] A variety of biological, psychological, religious, and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources. Various research groups, including positive psychology, endeavor to apply the scientific method to answer questions about what "happiness" is, and how it might be attained. It is of such fundamental importance to the human condition that "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" were deemed to be unalienable rights by the United States Declaration of Independence.

You can eat whatever you want and stay healthy as long as you're willing to work it off.

A diet of whole grains is actually very important, especially if you lead an active lifestyle. Besides junk food, the category to eliminate would actually be dairy. It's a fallacy that you need it in a healthy diet largely fueled by lobbyists. Many Americans value dairy because they don't eat enough vegetables and dairy has some of the vitamins and minerals found in vegetables, although it must be said that it's a poor substitute. Sorry it's not a neat geometric shape anymore, but it's the truth.

Except that dairy provides a ton of different foods that have killer amino acid scores, which is really really really important too. And it actually is one of the most digestible proteins out there for the vast majority of people.

There's just as much ******** from people trying to sell their diets of completely avoiding dairy. It isn't perfect either, and for a lot of people it isn't even good (low tolerance, allergies, etc, etc), but for a really big chunk of people it's incredibly good, healthy, and important.

Also, most people don't have the time to carefully plan their protein sources to balance them and get the ratios right so that they don't wind up with a deficiency. It's possible to do just as well from non-dairy sources, but it takes a lot of effort and not everyone is able to do that. Personally, I barely have the free time myself, and I have more than most people I know.

It's kinda like when vegans say they're getting more vitamins, even though it's tough and/or expensive as **** to get a decent, palatable source of vegan B12.

It's pretty damn subjective what works for people, and dairy actually works pretty ******* well for a ton of people. And like I said, there's as many snake-oil salesmen who are big on the internet that these days the amount of propaganda is almost even, at least in my feeds.

I eat lots of dairy, because having tried a lot, and I mean a LOT of different diets, and most of them for over 4 months to be sure of them, all my anecdotal evidence points to it being pretty ******* great for me.

You do have a good point about whole grains though. That's pretty good **** . I make homemade bread all the time now, and God DAMN does it taste good. But despite my calories having gone up from being unable to resist such good tasting **** , I've actually been losing weight lately.

It's a trapezium, though.
A trapezium has 2 parallel sides, trapezoid has none.

i always hated the fact that they included the top of the pyramid with junkfood and told you not to eat any. why not just make it a trapazoid then if you are telling us not to eat any junk at all?
