Someone explain to me why these hand-made works of art cost less than a significantly smaller scented candle at some place like Bath and Body works or Yankee Candle.
My question remains. A quick google search led me to a site that sold them for roughly 20 bucks, while my ******* "Vanilla Bourbon" candle from Bath and Body Works cost me $34.99 and it was half the size of these. It's kind of ******** .
But at half the size, and mass produced by a machine? These one's look amazing, and are hand-made and carved individually, while mine was melted, mixed, poured into a glass, and shipped out. It just seems backwards to me.
because people are willing to pay that price. The hand crafted candles are for sure much more expensive to produce because of the added labour needed to create them, but scented candles are "romanic" and "scented" so they can get away with selling them that price.
